It’s time to dispense a healthy dose of liberation and democracy across the galaxy inHelldivers 2, but that can’t get done if Super Earth’s Helldivers are getting blown to pieces by their enemies. The robotic Automatons in particular love to use explosive weapons like rockets and tanks to resist the Helldivers, and we can’t have that.

Automatons can’t generate weapons infinitely like they do their actual forces though. These weapons need fuel and munitions, and the Automatons keep them stockpiled on their bases. To help keep your comrades and the citizens of Super Earth safe, you’ll have to do a bit of democratic sabotaging.

How To Find Fuel Silos

Fuel Silos are amission objectiveyou can find during several differentAutomaton-based campaigns, which you can get to by selectingplanets under Automaton controlon thered-colored zones on the Galaxy Map.

They can be found on any planet not currently under a defense operation atMedium difficulty or higher, and specifically duringmissions to Sabotage Supply Bases.

Fuel Silos appear asthick, cylindrical buildings with several red lightscovering them, and they’llbe muchlarger than most other buildings around them.

How To Destroy Fuel Silos

Fuel Siloscan’t be destroyed by normal means– you’ll need todestroy themusing themission-specific stratagem, Hellbomb.

When youapproach a Fuel Silo, go into yourstratagem list. There’s going to be anew stratagem called the Hellbomblisted alongside your standard ones, and you’ll need tocall it downonce theoutpost is cleared of enemies.

Hellbombs can also beused to destroy other objective-specific zones, such as outposts withammunition stockpilesyou need to sabotage.

Hellbombs can becalled in like a normalResupplyor Weapon drop, but you canonly put them down in a mission-zone, and theycan’t be saved for any other objectivethat doesn’t use them.

Once the Hellbomb’s down, all you’ve got to do isinteract with its terminal, thenarm it byinputting the launch sequence.

Hellbombs have amassive blast radiusequivalent to the larger orbital strikes, sorun far from the outpost to avoid the blast, and the Automatons will have one less Fuel Silo.
