The Husk Of Elder Gaspar Video Walkthrough
This video demonstrates the different mechanics in the boss fight - pay close attention to the tri-beam, where the boss will fire three seperate beams ofelemental damagein a rotating circle.
Husk Of Elder Gaspar Boss Mechanics
Here’s a rundown of the different boss mechanics in this fight.
Tri-Beam
This is the boss' most deadly attack - a tri-beam of elemental damage. It spins in a circle, with the beams displayed on the floor before it starts spinning.
The best way to avoid this mechanic entirely is to grab some haste and movement speed items, if you’ve got any lying around. This makes it much easier to outrun the beams.

You can tell when the boss will initiate this mechanic because it will teleport to the center of the screen.
Stick close to the boss and try to avoid thelightning orbsthat stick around during the phase. The movement necessary for this mechanic is demonstrated in the video above.

Frost Clouds
This mechanic is slightly easier to dodge, although it can still spell doom for your attempt if you get caught. It deals significant damage and will lock you in place temporarily, with a minor stun.
Move side to side to avoid the Frost Clouds. They repeat in an alternating pattern. The mechanic is demonstrated in the video.

Void Swirl
This large AoE attack covers most of the arena in a heavy damage-dealing void swirl. Stand in the middle of the space that isn’t covered with purple clouds. This is a good opportunity to deal damage to the boss, as it will stay still during this mechanic.
Void And Fire Explosions
These two mechanics are relatively easy to telegraph - there is a short delay between when they are shown and when they will explode to deal damage. Make sure to dodge out of the way, using aTraversalskill if necessary.
