The Mechanical Mayhem update forLego Fortnitefinally brought something to the game that’s been desired since the beginning: transportation. Until now, you’ve had to rely on your glider, grappler, and the geysers in the Dry Valley.
Now you’re able to make a bona fide vehicle with a steering wheel. In fact, the update brings you three builds that you can make right away - all you need are the supplies. Not sure what you need or how to get started? We’ve got you covered.
How To Unlock And Build The Speeder
The smallest of the three vehicle builds is ideal if you’re by yourself and you need toget somewhere quickly.
Quick trip to the beachfor some fishingor to dig up sand? Need to do a knotroot run in the cave about 200 meters away anddon’t feel like walking? This little guy is perfect for the job.
To unlock the build recipe for the speeder, you need toadd a Power Cellto your inventory for the first time.
A Power Cell is made using Biomass, which you get byprocessing items through the Compost Bin. To craft one Power Cell you’ll need:

You finally upgraded your first village to level ten and want to start anew village in a different biome. But, you don’t want to grind for a bunch of new resources at the new spot just yet.
Just load up the hauler withchests full of wood, granite, knotroot, and more. Transporting resources around the map just got a lot easier. And there areseats for up to four people(including you).
The first time youadd Frostpineto your inventory, which you’ll find in the Frostlands, you’ll unlock the build recipe for the Hauler. To craft it, you’ll then need:
When you’re ready to go, the hauler will need only one Power Cell, but cantake up to four at oncefor a full charge.
