The raw materials that you gather can be refined using crafting workbenches, and you can make all sorts of items that will aid you on your adventures. One of these items is a Mechanical Gear.
Where To Find A Mechanical Gear
Mechanical Gear is acrafting materialthat can be used as aningredient for multiple recipes.
This is atier one item, and this can only be found after you’ve gained access to aProvisioner Realm.
You’ll need aProvisioner Major Cardin order to open up a Provisioner Realm. You can unlock the recipe for this by defeating the boss and releasing theHope Echo in the Provisioner Site of Power. This is a structure that can be found in anAbeyance Realm.
There are multiple ways to get Mechanical Gears in Nightingale. One way is to buy it fromEssence Traders in Provisioner Realms. You’ll need to shell out15 T1 Essencein order to purchase a piece of Mechanical Gear from the trader.
Not all Essence Traders will have the same stock. If one Essence Trader lacks what you’re looking for, make sure tocheck out what the other Essence Traders in the realmare selling.
Another way to get this material is to get it asloot as you explore the Fae Realms. You’ll have to be inProvisioner Realms or realms of a tier higherin order to find Mechanical Gear as loot.
The last way to get Mechanical Gear is tocraft it using a Brazier.

To craft a Mechanical Gear, you’ll need to have access to a Brazier. This is a workstation that can be unlocked bybuying the schematic for itfrom anEssence Trader in the Provisioner Realm.
The Brazier can be built usingsix ingots and three pieces of shaft.
Once you have your Brazier, you’ll findthe option to craft a Mechanical Gearwhen you open its menu.
A Mechanical Gear requirestwo ingotsto craft, and you can useany type of ingotfor this recipe.
Of all the methods for getting a Mechanical Gear,the best one is to craft it. Ingot can be smelted from ore, and this is aneasy resource to come by. Buying it from the Essence Trader istoo expensivefor what it’s worth, and you’re betting off using your T1 essence for other things, such asupgrading your gear.
