The different realms offer various materials that you can use to build a homey base to rest, or to craft tools to make gathering of resources a lot more efficient.
There are also dangers that lurk in the open-world expanse of Nightingale, and crafting powerful weapons and gear will help ensure your survival. Creating your equipment doesn’t end when you’ve got the gear in your hands. You can make these more powerful by bestowing them with better features when you equip them with infusions.
What Are Infusions
Infusions arecraftable buffsthat youinput into your gearin order to give the userincreased stats or improved defense.
When it comes to the buffs that these infusions can grant you, some can give youresistance to certain types of damage,such as poison, orincrease your movement speed, which is very helpful when it comes to exploration. Others willincrease the durability of the itemit’s applied to.
You can find these useful infusionsinchests, or you can buy them fromessence traders. Just keep in mind thatnot all essence traders will have thesein stock.
How To Craft Infusions
In order to craft infusions, you first need to have aSimple Enchanter’s Focus. This is acrafting workbenchwhere you can craft variouscharms, enchantments, realm cards, and infusions.

Make sure to build it in good condition in order to maximize its efficiency.
Pick an infusion from the infusions section, then add25 Essencein an ingredient slot.Click R or the Craft buttonto begin crafting your infusion.
You can get Essence as random loot fromkilling mobs or from collecting resourcesfrom the realms. You can also get a lot of Essence from simplyextracting it from itemsin your inventory.
How To Equip Infusions
In order to equip your newly crafted infusions, you’ll need gear that’s ranked asUncommon or higher in quality.
To increase the quality of your gear, upgrade them using theSimple Upgrade Bench. Upgrading will require combining your gear withT1 Essence.
To add infusions to your gear, open your inventory, then select orright-click on the infusion.
If you have gear that can use that specific infusion, the"Apply" optionwill be available. Click on this, then select the gear that will get the infusion.
If you’re picking infusions for specific gear, ensure to note what the infusion improves. If the gear has that stat,the infusion can be applied to that piece. If not, you won’t be able to apply the infusion.
Higher quality gear will be able to gain more infusions.Uncommongear canonly be equipped with one infusion.
Once you apply the infusion,you can no longer remove it from your equipment, so choose wisely.
