There are plenty of things to keep you occupied while playingFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth. From various open-world activities in each region to side quests and entertaining mini-games, you’ll always find something else to do if you want to explore the game to its fullest.
As you advance through the game, you’ll come across a relaxing resort area called Costa del Sol. Here, your party members take a break before continuing with the main story. Costa del Sol offers a plethora of activities for you to indulge in. Once you’ve completed this chapter, you’ll unlock a special side quest known as Rendezvous in Costa del Sol.
How To Begin Rendezvous In Costa Del Sol
After completing the Costa del Sol chapter in the game, theRendezvous In Costa del Sol side quest becomes available on the Community Board at this location. This quest will take you back to the beach in this location,where you’ll interact with some Swimsuit girls on a stage.
After you talk with them, you will need tofinish two mini-gamesbefore you progress to the final stage of the quest.
How To Complete Fran Activity
To start,head to Fran first, who is the nearest one, and speak with her. After that, you’ll need to complete theGhost Ship stage with the Pirate’s Rampage mini-game, which you played earlier when you first started progression in Costa del Sol. However,this time it’s different.
There arefour rounds, andeach one has a 30-second timerbefore you advance to the next one. This time,you need to accurately shoot your shots, andyou’ll earn bonus points for accuracy, so try to keep your shots precise anddon’t miss any targets.
Some of the targetswill switch to the other side, yieldingmore points, so sometimes it might be worth waiting for a moment before shooting your shots. Additionally,other targets will require multiple shotsbefore you earn their points.
How To Complete Naomi Activity
Once you’re done with Fran,head over to Naomiand interact with her to initiate the second mini-game,Run Wild. However, this time,it’s a time trial, and you’ll need toshoot the numbered balls into their corresponding goalsin the shortest amount of time possible to win.
As you control Red on the field, you’ll haveeight balls to score in their corresponding nets based on both color and the displayed number at the top of the net. The first four balls are well-positioned, requiring a simple shot from behind into the respective goals. However,starting from ball number five,moving gates will hinder your progress, andadditional regular balls will obstruct your path.
you may eitherwait for the moving gatesto lower and shoot the ball into the goal, orattempt a lob shot to bypass them.
The final ball, the eighth one, presents the greatest challenge as you must execute a precise lob shot to score when you approach it. Once you complete this mini-game, you’ll receive a new objective tohead toward the final activity of your date, where you’ll need tomeet with Yorda in the stables.
You have three minutes and 30 seconds to complete this task, but it’s very achievable in less time.
How To Complete Yorda Activity
After meeting Yorda at the Chocobo ranch, she’ll provide you with yourRent-a-Bird membershipif you haven’t already acquired it,granting you access to Chocobo in the region. While riding the Chocobo, head towards your new objective, which isClamshell Beach.
Upon reaching the beach, you’ll encountersome fiends that need to be defeated, but they shouldn’t pose much of a problem.
When assessing them, you’ll receive a hint: when they slip into their defensive stance after taking a certain amount of damage,use Fire damage to break it, and continue damaging them to defeat them.
It’s recommended tohave Yuffie and Barret in your partywhen facing them, focusing ondealing with one before moving on to the other.
After defeating both fiends,ride back on your Chocobo and hold the up button on the d-pad to utilize its sense to locate the shells you need, which arethree in total. All of them are located within the vicinity, so use your Chocobo tofind the trail and then dig at the designated spots to gather them.
Be cautious, as there’s a chance you may not find the shell you’re looking for in a specific spot, and digging in the wrong spot will alert more enemies.
Complete The Quest
Take all three shells back to Yorda, and you canfast-travel to her locationto hand them over. Then,make your way back to the beach where you first encountered all three girlsand relish the performance!
Upon successfully finishing the quest, you’ll be rewarded with theArt of Swordplay Vol. IIand10 SP for Cloud, along with bothEXP and Party EXP.
