InEscape From Tarkov, Gunsmith Part 2 marks the second official tutorialization of the gun modding system. However, tutorial might not be the right word. Tarkov leaves you to learn the gun modding system on your own, but gives you incentives to learn it through Gunsmith tasks. Easy XP and rewards can be gained from completing them.
For Gunsmith Part 2, you will receive 2000 XP, 15,000 Rubles, an increased reputation with Mechanic, and numerous crafting components. The effort to complete this task is worth its rewards. So, let’s get started.
What Is Gunsmith Part 2
The second part of the gunsmith task line will require you to build a modified AKS-74U assault rifle. Thankfully,Mechanic gives you the gunonce you accept the task from him.
You will receive it in a message he sends you. What you need to do for this part of Gunsmith is the following:
While this might seem daunting at first glance, it is an easy modification job. The difficult thing is obtaining one of the parts, the 60-round mag.
TheAK-74 6L31 60-round magcan be crafted if you haveLavatory level 2in the hideout, found in weapon boxes in-game, or can be bought or bartered from Prapor.
A reliable place to find them is theZB-014 extract on Woods. They have a chance of spawning near thestack of barrelsbehind the locked door, which you need theZB-014 keyto unlock.
