The slums of Vernworth in particular are home to a great many people that could use a helping hand. In particular, Daphne is a child found in the slums who needs your help finding a few different items, as part of the Gift of Giving quest. Below, we’ll take a look at everything you need to know about completing this quest.
How To Start The Gift Of Giving Quest
To startThe Gift of Givingquest, head to theslums of Vernworth. The quest-giver, Daphne is a young girl withblond hair, wearing a dark-colored robe and apurple scarf. She’s usually found in ornear the Gracious Hand.
Speaking to Daphne will begin this quest, which will involve you searching around for a few items to help her and the people of the slums.
How To Complete The Gift Of Giving Quest
At certain points in this quest, you may have towait a day or twofor Daphne to have another request for you. If you speak to her again and she doesn’t ask you for the next item, wait a day and try again.
Bunch of Flowers
The first item that Daphne asks for is aBunch of Flowers. There are a few ways to get this item, but the easiest is to make it yourself by combining any of the following flowers from your inventory.
These plants arefound in abundance all over the world, and you should already have a few stocked up by this point. If not, explore for a few minutes and you’re sure to find some.
Alternatively, you can find an already-crafted Bunch of Flowers in achest in Vernworth’s Inn.
Silver Ore and Gold Ore
The second item you need to deliver isSilver Ore. You just need one for this quest, and you can find it almost anywhere in the world atore mining locations. Some good spots to check are caves, in particular, theTrevo Minefound to the northwest of Vernworth, or pretty muchany cave found along the way.
Once you’ve obtained one Silver Ore, deliver it to Daphne to complete this portion of the quest.
Next, you’ll need to findtwo Gold Orefor Daphne. Again, you’re able to find this item bymining at any ore gathering node, so search around until you get some. There’s a good chance you’ll even get the Gold Ore you need while searching for Silver Ore from the previous step in this quest.
Medicine
Finally, Daphne will ask forfive portions of medicinefor the church. There are multiple different ways to go about this, because there areseveral different items you can deliverto Daphne that will count. She is looking foranything that can cure the Blighted debilitation.
The main item for curing this debilitation isDetoxifying Decoction, but you can also deliverPanacea or Allhealif you have them.
To get Detoxifying Decoction, you can eithercraft them using Pitywort and Syrupwort Leaf, orbuy them from an alchemistin town.
In any case, once you’ve obtained five pieces of medicine that can cure Blighted, deliver them to Daphne to complete this quest. As a reward, you’ll get some gold and experience points, as well as aGolden Trove Beetle, which can be used to increase your maximum carry weight.
