Once you complete the Songs Of The Ancestor quest inAvatar: Frontiers Of Pandora, you’ll immediately start the Becoming quest. This one will take a while to complete, requiring you to learn about investigation, explore new parts of Kinglor Forest, and fight off enemies that attack the Resistance Headquarters.
However, it can be easy to get lost and face problems while you go through this quest line. Don’t worry if you feel overwhelmed: this guide will help you through the quest and continue the story. Once you do, you can make your way to the Hometree, and the game will open up and let you explore more of what Pandora offers.
Return To The Resistance HQ
Upon completing Songs Of The Ancestor, you canfast-travel to the Resistance HQ. Doing so will cost 20 percent of your energy but will save you time.
Enter the facility and walk forward to the Command Center, where a cutscene will start when you talk with Priya. She’ll then ask you totalk to So’lek, who is east of the Command Center.
After the cutscene, you’ll need to track Nor, sogo to the Entry Hub northwest of So’lek, then climb the staircase. You’ll find another door, but take the slope right of it, and you’ll find the exit from where Nor left.
Investigate Nor’s Clues
When you go outside, you’ll see two clues you must connect, calledBurst Vein Pod and Na’vi Footprints. Start the investigation by activating your Na’vi Sense and pressing the button on the screen to start the investigation.
Once you connect them, a Scent Trail will appear, so follow it while using your Na’vi Sense. Thetrail will end when you reach a waterfall, which will be replaced by a Waypointthat will be up and to the left of the waterfall.
Reach Nor
Climb the Lift Vine,then continue down the path andcross the water to the south. This will take you through a cave area, which will lead to a Lift Vine.
Follow the path toward the Waypoint and jump up multiple cliffs. You’ll eventually reach another cliff you can jump up, and you’ll know you’re in the right spot if you seea large tree with giant roots.
Go northeast to more platformsthat you’ll need to jump up, then follow the path to go up another Lift Vine. You’ll have more cliffs to jump, leading to acave area where you’ll travel southwest.
Use the Lift Vine, go up the platforms, andgo northeast, where you’ll cross a large root. You’ll crouch and go through the hole in the wall, where you’ll climb more cliffs and use a Lilft Vine.
At this point, you’ll jump up a few more cliffs andwill see Helicoradion on the ground. Follow this path, where you’ll encounter opening credits, use a Lift Vine, and cross a root bridge to find Nor.
Run To The Resistance Research Station
You’ll watch a cutscene, then the Resistance Research Station will be attacked by the RDA, requiring you to reach it in under seven minutes.Travel down the southwest part of the cliffs, which will have multiple platforms for you to jump across.
You’ll need to make a large hop to a plateau, souse a Sprint Jump into an Air Boost to land on it. It will be connected to some roots, so run across them toward the Waypoint.
Keep running to the Waypoint, and you’ll eventually reach it.
If you see enemies, just run past themuntil you reach the Research Station, and a cutscene plays.
Defeat The RDA
So’lek will give you the Staff Sling, which you can use to place bombs on the ground. You’ll see two smoke screens from the RDA, soplace two of your Staff Sling bombs in front of those smoke screensto prevent them from approaching you.
At this point, you need to fend them off with your bow or gun.Use the upper level you started at as coverto avoid bullets.
Use your Na’vi Sense to see the enemy outlines, making it easier to bob in and out of cover to strike down your foes.
You’ll need totake down multiple waves of enemies, with the soldiers going down in one shot.
The mech foes will need multiple shots, but they’lltake more damage if you hit the soldiers inside them.
Recover The Medical Supplies
After you defeat the waves, you havefive minutes to run to the east side of the Research Station, grab the medical supplies, and return.
Immediately run to the area, where you’ll encountertwo soldiersyou can take out with some quick arrow shots.
Once you defeat them,go into the building and open the crate to collect the supplies. Come back the way you came, where you must defeat more RDA soldiers but under a time limit.
There aren’t as many foes, so you canfollow the same strategy to defeat them. After you do so,hop to the ground level and approach the door, where you’ll get a cutscene and complete the quest.
