In this cozy community sim,Palianot only allows you to build the home of your dreams but also offers you the chance to strengthen your relationship with each Kilima Village resident. To begin this journey, completing the Happy Housewarming quest is the perfect way to get started.
Soon after you move into Kilima, Mayor Kenli warmly welcomes you. He also tells you about a little neighborhood tradition where newcomers give gifts to their neighbors as a housewarming present. While this is an excellent way to build new relationships, it could be overwhelming as picking a gift is difficult for everyone. Here is everything you need to know about the quest, including how to find out the villagers’ gift preferences.

How To Get The Happy Housewarming Quest
First, you’ll need to progress two prior quests, Brick by Brick and Plank by Plank, up to a point. Completion of these quests is not necessary,you just need to build and place the Basic Smelter and Sawmillon your plot, respectively.
At that point, Mayor Kenli will visit your plot. Speak to him, andhe’ll request that you send a gift to five different villagersas part of the village’s tradition.
If Kenli doesn’t show up, it’s mostly likely because another NPC is in your plot. You’ll have to talk to them and complete their quest first.
How To Find Out What Villagers Like
While some villagers might accept a few different gifts,others can be picky and may refuse your gift if it’s not what they want.
To figure out what they want, you must firstchat with each villagerandclick the gift box icon with the question markjust outside the bottom left corner of the dialogue window.
If you hover over the icon, it should display the message, “Learn about what villagers want.”
When you click on it, they’ll start talking aboutwhat gift they want or what other villagers may like for the current week, as their preferences change weekly.
Now that you know what they want, you just need tohave the required item in your inventory and chat with them again, this timeclicking on the gift box icon without the question mark. Then, simplyselect the itemwhen your inventory window opens up.
If you give them what they wanted this week, they’ll express their appreciation. If it’s not exactly what they wanted this week, they’ll reject the gift, but you’ll be able to try again.
Sinceyou have unlimited attempts, you could try to brute force the quest by giving them different items from your inventory until one works.
Rewards For Happy Housewarming Quest
Once you successfully pleasefive villagerswith perfect housewarming gifts, you canreturn to Mayor Kenli. You’ll receive the following rewards:
Kenli can be found at City Hall during the day, the Tavern in the evening, and Mayor’s Estate at night.
