Once you’re free to head to Drakenhold inUnicorn Overlord,you’ll find it’s a lot rougher than Cornia, with large mountain ranges, harsh deserts, and bandits for you to fight through. Some things are the same however: towns that have been destroyed by Zenoiran occupation and need you to restore them.

Restoration requests are a useful side mission for players looking to passively collect gold and resources, and in some cases, you’re able to unlock traversal options and new areas by repairing certain towns. It will also reward you with Honors and Renown, so always check in when you have the time.

Restoration Requests In Drakenhold

There are 20 towns in Drakenhold for you to liberate and restore, with some being restored already, like Castle Soldrago and Znova. Here’s what you’ll need.

The towns you should prioritize restoring areAdopti,which will give you access to a tavern, andKrannich Harbor,from which you can take a boat north to Bestorias.

The enemy level for Krannich Harbor is 24, so prepare accordingly.

How To Farm For Resources

The quickest way to get resources is tostation a guard at every town you restore.The guards will collect items for you every time you complete a battle.

If you run out of units to station, just hire some mercenaries.

If you need to farm, take on anauxiliary battlea few times.The level 15 sigil north of Ömpalast Townis useful because you can just send a flying unit over the mountain range and be done in 20 seconds.

Your stationed soldiers will only collect items from pointsyou’ve already investigated,soyou should still be picking up every item you see on the map if you want resources quickly.

Finally, after you liberate Vansberg town you’ll have access to the mine for quick access to Copper Ore and Sedranite Stone.

How To Reach Znova

Whileyou don’t have to restore Znova, if you want to maximize your resources by stationing a guard in every town, you’ll have to figure out how to get to this secluded area.

Once you’ve completed Heir To The Dragonlands and reclaimed Castle Soldrago, head to Schweiger Town.Go north along the pathuntil you see the bridge.

Head left opposite the bridge, and you’ll seea small cave you may pass through. Doing so will take you to Znova Town, where you can station a guard immediately.
