While you can forage, farm, and decorate to your heart’s content, celebrating different holidays in-game is another fun treat. The Maji Market limited-time event is one way Palia celebrates special times of year.
The Maji Market is a special night market that you can explore during the in-game hours of 6pm to 3am, and offers plenty of fun activities to participate in. For the Luna New Year event, you will be able to complete quests for Chayne to learn all about the Majiri’s traditions with the wish tree.

New Year, New Wishes Quest Walkthrough
Once the festivities of the Luna New Year Maji Market get under way, you’ll geta letter in your mailbox from Chayne, the Kilima sage.He invites you to the celebrations, and asks you tomeet him in the Kilima Village Fairgroundsduring the event.
So,head to the Maji Market while it is open and talk to Chayne. He will be standing under the big wish tree in the center.Listen to him explain what the event is all about and whatLucky Envelopesare (the main currency for the Maji Market), and accept the ones he offers you.
You alsoget 100 Lucky Envelopes for talking to Chaynehere.
TheLuna New Year is all about wishes, and everybody has made their own,except Zeki.Chayne wants you to talk to Zekiand see if there’s any way you can help him.
Head across the path to Zeki, who will bestanding at his shop near a big prize wheel.Once you talk to him, he’ll give you a special coin that will let you spin the prize wheel.Try your shot at the prize wheel, and Zeki will tell you why he hasn’t made a wish yet.
Report back to Chayne, and let him know the situation. You will earn15 Renownand300 Lucky Envelopesfor completing this initial quest.
How To Start Chayne’s Wishes In The Wind Quest
After completing ‘New Year, New Wishes,‘you will get a letter in your mailbox the following day.Read the letter to discover that Chayne has another matter to discuss with you during the Luna New Year celebration.
Head on over to the Maji Market during its open hours, andfind Chayne standing near the wish tree. Talk to him to initiate the quest,‘Wishes in the Wind.’
Chayne will explain that somehow,several of the wish papers have gone missing from the tree, and he doesn’t know how it happened. He will ask you tolook for and recover the fallen wish papers, which are somewhere in the Kilima Village Fairgrounds.
Where To Find All Fallen Wish Papers
Thankfully, you won’t have to wander all over the Fairgrounds to find all the fallen wish papers. Just head slightly north of the wish tree, and you’ll be able to find thefive wish papers.
Be on the lookout forglowing objects on the ground.These are the quest items you need to pick up.
You’llfind the five wish papers in these locations:
Afterreturning all the fallen wish papers to Chayne, he will ask you to find out what might have caused them to fall in the first place. To do this,you’ll need to ask around.
Find The Culprit
Go around andtalk to three different villagers, and ask if they saw anything out of the ordinary. Most of them will say somethingindicating Zeki might have been involvedin some way.
However,should you ask Zeki himself, he’ll say he doesn’t know anything about it.
Return to Chayneto give him an update, and he’ll suggestspeaking to Zeki directlyabout the matter. So, goconfront Zeki to get the full story.
Listen to him explain what really happened, and thenreturn to Chayne to update him about what Zeki said. Even though he isn’t fully convinced by what Zeki said about not wanting to make a wish, he’ll decide that it’s best to give Zeki time to open up on his own.
Finish talking with Chayne andyou will finish the quest. Your reward will be15 Renownand500 Lucky Envelopes.
