The final set of Weekly Challenges forCall of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ssecond season are here, awarding the long-awaited Rotten Inferno mastery camo for players who have earned all previous weekly rewards. There’s also a weapon blueprint up for grabs.
You only have one week to complete this set of Weekly Challenges before Season 3 launches, so let’s not waste any time. This guide will give a brief showcase of this week’s Rook weapon blueprint, the Rotten Inferno seasonal camo, and explain how to complete every challenge released this week. Remember: you only need to complete any five of the listed challenges to earn this week’s reward.
Week 8 Challenge Reward
Completing any five of this week’s challenges will award theRook weapon blueprintfor the HRM-9.This applies a unique pattern to the HRM-9 and comes with the following attachments:
Additionally,if you have unlocked every weekly reward this season, you will also unlock the Rotten Inferno camo.This is an animated weapon camo that covers your weapon in flame, surrounded by an array of undead hands. It can be applied to any MW2 and MW3 weapon. Rotten Inferno is found under the “Events” category of the camo menu.

Get 3 longshot kills with the JAK Glassless Optic equipped to a recommended weapon.
2,500 XP
Get 5 kills while sliding or midair with a recommended weapon.
5,000 XP
Get 3 longshot kills with the Tyrant 762 Kit equipped to the Longbow.
Get 3 melee double kills.
Get 3 double kills with the JAK Maglift Mod equipped to the Haymaker.
7,500 XP
Get 7 tac stance kills with the Backsaw Conversion Kit equipped to the Holger 556.
Get 3 first blood or kingslayer kills with a recommended handgun.
10,000 XP
Get 300 kills with Brain Rot Ammo installed on a recommended weapon.
Get 250 critical kills with the Longbow.
Get 50 kills without dying 10 times with a recommended weapon.
Get 250 kills with Napalm Burst Ammo installed on the Haymaker.
Get 40 operator kills or assists with recommended weapons.
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the northwest region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo).
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor).
Complete 15 contracts in Warzone.
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms).
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the central region (Old Town, Low Town).
In Warzone, place in the top ten 5 times or complete a Covert Exfil.
