Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3has released its second set of Weekly Challenges for its third season, releasing the first Aftermarket Part for a Modern Warfare 2 weapon. Complete any five of this week’s challenges, and you’ll be able to convert the KV Broadside shotgun into a full-auto battle rifle.
Fortunately, this week’s challenges are fairly easy across Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone. Land shotgun kills, eliminate Mimics in Zombies, and perform squad assembles to complete some of this week’s challenges with ease. This guide will give a brief overview of how the JAK Jawbreaker Kit works, and we’ll explain how you can quickly complete each challenge added this week in MW3.
Week 2 Challenge Reward
After you complete any five challenges from this week, you will unlock theJAK Jawbreaker Kit for the KV Broadside.This is the first conversion kit available for a Modern Warfare 2 weapon, so you’ll need tounlock the KV Broadside firstif you didn’t play MW2 last year.
The conversion kit itselfconverts the KV Broadside into a battle rifle that functions identically to the Sidewinder.It has a fairly slow fire rate of 433 RPM, yet it has the ability to land a two-hit kill in core Multiplayer if you land a single headshot.
To keep the weapon in check, the JAK Jawbreaker has the worst firing aim stability out of all MW3 weapons, including the MW2 weapons that were brought forward. You’ll need to spec heavily into firing stability to make this gun remotely usable past 20 meters. Visual recoil is also quite extreme on this weapon. Recoil mitigation attachments are highly recommended.

Get 200 kills with a Shotgun equipped with Napalm Burst ammo.
Get 250 kills with a recommended pistol at Epic (purple) quality or higher.
Get 10 kills with a recommended shotgun without taking damage 30 times.
Get 150 kills with a recommended weapon in the High Threat Zone.
Perform a squad assemble 7 times.
In Warzone Rebirth Island, open 30 loot caches in the northwest region (Dock, Control Center).
In Warzone Rebirth Island, open 30 loot caches in the southeast region (Stronghold, Living Quarters).
Complete 20 Contracts.
In Warzone Rebirth Island, open 30 loot caches in the northeast region (Bioweapons Industries, Harbor, Chemical Eng.).
In Warzone Rebirth Island, open 30 loot caches in the center region (Prison Headquarters, Factory).
