Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ssecond season has released a new Aftermarket Part this week for players to earn. The JAK Limb Ripper is a fun attachment that gives your rifles an underbarrel chainsaw, allowing you to turn your enemies into a red mist with a single melee hit.
While it’s not a competitive attachment, it’s a fun reward for completing five of this week’s challenges. It’s also a good option for MWZ if you’re able to Pack-A-Punch your weapon. This guide will explain how the JAK Limb Ripper works, and we’ll cover how to complete every challenge added this week. Remember: you only need to complete five challenges to unlock this week’s reward.
Week 2 Challenge Reward
This week’s reward is theJAK Limb Ripper, an underbarrel chainsaw that can be installed on most rifles. While equipped, any melee attacks you perform with that weapon will jab the target with a revved chainsaw, instantly killing them. This attack has minimal lunge distance, so you’ll need to be fairly close to your target for this to work.
While equipped, your weapon’s ADS speed is slowed by 17%.
You also gain the option to wield the chainsaw by pressing the underbarrel attachment input (left on the D-pad for controllers, B for PC users). Holding the fire input will rev the chainsaw and deal moderate damage to anyone in melee range, killing enemies in two hits in core Multiplayer. This mode is inferior to the quick melee your weapon gets, but this has somegreat DPS potential in Zombiesif the weapon is Pack-A-Punched.

Get 500 critical kills with a recommended weapon.
Get 150 kills with a recommended weapon while having at least 4 active perks.
Get 250 kills with a recommended weapon with Napalm Burst ammo installed.
Kill a Mega Abomination with a recommended weapon.
Get 10 kills without being hit 20 times with a recommended melee weapon.
Get 40 operator kills or assists with a recommended weapon.
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the northwest region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo).
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor).
Complete 15 contracts in Warzone.
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms).
In Urzikstan, open 20 loot caches in the central region (Old Town, Low Town).
