Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’ssecond season has a new set of weekly challenges that will release over the next eight weeks. Each week, 21 new challenges will become available to complete in MW3’s three core modes: Multiplayer, MWZ, and Warzone.
Completing any five of these challenges—either in one mode or a mix of all three—will unlock a new attachment, conversion kit, or even a weapon. The first set of challenges available this season is currently available, along with a new conversion kit for one of Modern Warfare 3’s most popoular sniper rifles: the Longbow.
Week 1 Challenge Reward
Completing five challenges this week will award theJAK Tyrant 762 Kitforthe Longbow sniper rifle. This is a conversion kit that modifies the receiver to accept 7.62 BLK ammunition.Each shot deals 17% more damage, but your effective range and bullet velocity stats are cut in half.The attachment sacrifices the Longbow’s long-range potential for slightly more powerful rounds at close range.
The damage difference makesno TTK difference in Multiplayer, so this attachment is more or less a straight downgrade. However,the extra damage makes it a solid two-shot option for Warzone.If you want a sniper rifle with high handling and moderate damage, this conversion kit might interest you. For everyone else, this is a safe skip.

Get 250 one-shot kills with a recommended shotgun.
Get five rapid kills 15 times with a recommended battle rifle.
Get 100 kills with a scoped recommended sniper rifle.
Get ten kills without dying 20 times with a recommended assault rifle.
In Warzone, open 50 loot caches.
In Urzikstan, get 10 kills in the northwest region (Resort, Power, Seaport, Cargo).
In Urzikstan, get 10 kills in the southern region (City, Suburbs, Manor).
Complete 15 contracts in Warzone.
In Urzikstan, get 10 kills in the eastern region (Military Base or Farms).
In Urzikstan, get 10 kills in the central region (Old Town, Low Town).
