InPalworld, there are many bosses you’ll encounter. From Alpha Bosses to Syndicate Tower bosses, you’ll want to find strong Pals to team up with so you can take them down. If you’re struggling to catch powerful Pals and need a bit of help, you can always find a cave dungeon to explore.
Cave dungeons are found all throughout the Palpagos Islands, and you have a limited amount of time to find and clear them once they spawn. With a bit of help, you’re able to find plenty of resources and Pals to strengthen your party and your base. Here’s everything you need to know about caves in Palworld.

What Are Caves?
Cave Dungeons aresmaller dungeons that are easier to tackle, and each one hasan Alpha Bossto take on. While these aren’t marked on your map, they’re a great way tocatch tougher Palsto build your party.
To find a cave, you’ll have to look around and keep your eyes peeled–caves are hidden all over the map. Once you find them, you haveroughly 200 minutes to run throughand complete it.
Caves are randomly generated.
Cave Dungeon Checklist
When you find a cave, it’s best tomark it on your mapand prepare to enter if you’re not yet ready to face it. There are a few things you’ll want to do before entering to make the most of your spelunking:
Before entering the cave, you cancheck the recommended levelabove the timer.
How To Complete A Cave Dungeon
To complete a dungeon, you’ll have todefeat the boss waiting inside. To do that, you may have to wander around for a while. A cave can have many enemies,including both Pals and humans.
The rooms inside the cave will either have enemies, treasure, or both. You cancollect materials such as coal, Paldium, and orefrom different nodes throughout the caves.
Explore the different rooms in a cave, asthe layout will changeevery time youenter a new dungeon.
The final room, however, will always have arandom Pal Alpha Boss by a large tree. Defeating the boss willunlock the room behind the Pal, allowing you to claim two chests for rewards.
To leave the dungeon,interact with the large crystalfloating in the back. You’ll betransported back outside the cave, free to explore the overworld once again.
