How To Combine Items In Backpack Battles
A few items in the Shop will sometimesshow blue lines as you hover the mouse over them.Blue lines meanthese items can becombined with some items in your inventory, creating powerful new versions.
To combine these blue-lined items,drag an item from the Shop into your inventory, and you will see blue lines indicating if any available item can be combined.
The blue line will also indicate if your inventory has more than one potential item ready for combination.
The next step is todrop one item next to another(the shop item next to the items with the blue lines that you want to combine).Theblue line will turn into a yellow line,indicating a successful combination. This indicates that all items are ready to be infused with each other to make a powerful one.
The final step is toplay and complete the next battleand get the combined item.
Combination Examples
Most recipes will require combining two items, such asBloodthore melee weapon, which needs a combination of Hungry Blade and Thorn Whip items.
Only afew recipes need three or four itemsto create a powerful combined item. For example, thePoison Goobert requires a combination of three items: one Goobert and two Fly Agaric.
Similarly, theRainbow Goobert Deathslushy Mansquisher and Rainbow Goobert Epicglob Uberviscous need four unique Goobert typesto make these combined items.
What Are Item Recipes
Themain menuof the game has aRecipe section. Itlists all the unlocked items you combineand completes certain recipes.
The locked items will be blacked out, and the available recipes crafted before will show the required items to combine and make them.
You can always revisit this section andoverlook the available recipes at a quick glancebefore doing a run. Remembering recipes is unnecessary, as this section serves the purpose of giving you quick information.
