AFK Journeyis the sequel toAFK Arena, an idle fantasy game from Lilith Games. Once again set in the high-fantasy world of Esperia, AFK Journey expands significantly on the lore of the previous game while retaining its core identity. As an idle roleplaying game, AFK Journey includes many aspects of traditional RPGs, such as a diverse roster of playable characters, experience and equipment systems, and an in-depth story to follow.
Traditional RPGs can sometimes be lonely, but AFK Journey allows you to make friends and form a guild to play together… if you know how. The mechanics for adding friends to your list aren’t explained very well, but with a little guidance, you should have your friend list full in no time.
How To Choose Your Server
The first thing to be aware of is thatguilds and friends are restricted to your current server. If you’re on server S42 and your friend is on server S136, you’re out of luck unless one of you is willing to reroll.
Your server is selected as soon as you interact with the initial screen. You’ll be automatically added to the most recent server to open that hasn’t reached its automatic add limit. There is no way to switch servers, so unless you and your friend start playing at almost the same time,you’re going to need to jump through some hoops to play together.

While you cannot switch servers, you can create a new character and choose which server that character will be on, following these steps:
This is where you can see which server your character is on. It is listed to the right of your character portrait.
Your new character will start from the beginning of the game at level 1 again, but you’ll be able to interact with your friends.
How To Add Friends
Getting to the same server as your friend is the hard part. Once you’re there, it’s pretty easy to add them as a friend in the game.
Now you’re in the Add New Friends menu! Near the middle of the screen is a field tosearch for your friend by account number, and underneath that you’ll find suggested friends. You can also add friends in the overworld by approaching their avatar, clicking the magnifying glass icon, and pressing theFriendbutton.
How To Find Your Account Number
Your account number can be found on the bottom right of your profile. To find it, simplytap your avatar on the top left of the screen. Your account number can be found on the bottom right of the screen, with a handy copy button so you may easily paste it into a chat with your friends.
