When you encounter new Pals inPalworld, you’ll use them in your party to fight alongside you and deploy them at your base to help complete tasks and get work done. All Pals have different skills and work suitability, meaning that some are better than others.

One thing you may do is capture the bosses you face in the Syndicate Towers. It’s not easy, and the game will even tell you that it’s not possible, but through a simple exploit, you can capture a team of overpowered Pals to help you progress through the game and keep your base running.

Palworld is in Early Access, so details are subject to change. We’ll update our guides as needed.

This method of catching bosses appears to be a bug, which may be patched in future updates.

How To Catch Zoe And Grizzbolt

Tocatch Zoe and Grizzbolt, you’ll need to fast travel to the Small Settlement andattack the PIDF officersthere. Quickly activate the fast travel point and go to the one justoutside the Rayne Syndicate Tower.

verify you have a Wanted level before leaving, otherwise the PIDF officers won’t follow you.

Hurry to the tower andinitiate the boss fight. You can attack the officers again tomake sure they’re hostilebefore and after you enter the tower. Skip the cutscene andget up close to Zoe and Grizzbolt.

Do not attack the boss yourself. Keep any Pals in Spheres and do not use your weapons.

Stay close and angle yourself so that thePIDF officers hit Zoe and Grizzboltwith their bullets. You’ll know you cancapture Zoe and Grizzbolt when they stop fightingand run off to the corner. Hit them in the back with aPal Sphereto capture them instantly.

Using a basic Pal Sphere will work as the catch rate is 100 percent, despite the catch rate displaying zero.

Now that you have the Rayne Syndicate Boss in your Palbox, you have a powerful ally. However, thePIDF officers will still be hostilein the tower and there isno way to complete the dungeonsince you have done the unthinkable.Open your menu and select Respawnto leave.

you may eitherempty your inventorybefore attempting to catch the boss so you don’t drop anything, or you canalter your world settingsfrom the main menu to prevent drops upon defeat.

How To Catch Lily And Lyleen

Lily and Lyleen make upthe second boss you’ll encounter, and the method ofcatching them is essentially the same. The only difference is that you’ll want tocome more prepared to avoid taking damagesince they are stronger than Zoe and Grizzbolt.

When you’re ready, fast travel to the Small Settlement, attack the officers, thenfast travel outside of the Free Pal Alliance Tower. When you enter, make sure that the officers are still hostile, and stay close to Lily and Lyleen.

You cancapture them when Lily and Lyleen stop attacking and retreatto one corner of the dungeon. With their backs to you, throw a Pal Sphere at them. Once they’re caught, open the menu to respawn, return to your base, andcheck your Palbox for the leaderof the Free Pal Alliance.

How To Catch Axel And Oserk

Axel ismore dangerous and difficult to catch, if only because Orserk is so powerful. Therecommended level for entering is 40, and it will be difficult to get the officers to follow you here.

Whether youtravel to the Small Settlement againor use thefast travel statue at Fisherman’s Pointto attack the PIDF officers, ensure that they are actively attacked you outside the Brothers of the Eternal Pyre Tower on Mount Obsidian.

Some of Axel’s attacks go through the pillars in the tower, so you’ll need to dodge rather than hide.

Do not attack Axel, butstay close enough that the PIDF officers attack himand Orserk. Like the other bosses, you’ll know you cancapture him when he stops attackingand retreats.

Take the opportunity tohit him in the back with a Pal Sphere, then respawn to get out of the dungeon.

How To Catch Marcus And Faleris

Marcus and Faleris arethe most difficult to catchnot only due to their strength, but becausethey fight in midair. Getting the PIDF officers to attack them is tricky, andusing a flying mount won’t helpmuch.

Follow the previous steps toattack PIDF officers and lead them to the PIDF Towerin the desert, whether you bring them from theSmall Settlement or Duneshelterfast travel points.

Sometimes the PIDF officers will get stuck behind the dunes, so make sure they attack you before entering the dungeon.

Once inside, try to keep your distance. Unlike the other bosses, youdo not want to get up close. Marcus and Faleris are lethal, sostay away and instead start jumping. This will cause the PIDF officers to aim higher, hopefully hitting Marcus and his Pal.

Continue jumping repeatedlyuntil you see Marcus and Faleris' pattern change. Once Marcus retreats like the other bosses, you canthrow a Pal Sphere at his backto catch him.Respawn to exit the dungeonand examine the Palbox for your new ally.

How To Catch Victor And Shadowbeak

Victor and Shadowbeak are likely the last boss you’ll come across, as they arehidden in the northernmost tower. Getting there is a feat in and of itself, as thePAL Genetic Research Unit Toweris in the mountains.

Attack the PIDF officers once you fast travel outside the tower, as some of them make get stuck in the mountains.

Follow the steps for the other bosses, leading the PIDF officers to the towerbefore entering. SinceShadowbeak is a unique Palunlike any other, you’ll have touse a mix of tactics here. Stay out of its way, but stay close enough for the officers to hit it.

Additionally, Shadowbeak has wings. Youmay need to jump like you did for Marcusand Faleris if Victor and Shadowbeak leave the ground.

The tell-tale sign that you may catch Victor and his Pal is that theyretreat to a corner of the dungeon and stop fighting. Hurry to throw a Pal Sphere and capture them, then respawn and check your Palbox.

Differences When Using Syndicate Bosses In Your Party

With that, you’vecollected all the tower bosses, meaning you can make a party with only these characters. While they are registered as the Pal they use in combat, you’ll notice that there are several differences.

One is pretty obvious: you havea human riding on the back of a Pal. This doesn’t grant the Pal any special abilities, but it does allow them to be visible in the field.

In multiplayer settings, Zoe can sometimes still be visible even after putting Grizzbolt back in the Pal Sphere.

Her shadow is visible if she is in your party as well, even if you havent summoned her.

Another is thatthe Pal’s health is incredibly high. They have their boss health, which scales accordingly when they level. You can easilyuse them as a sponge to soak up damagewith tens of thousands of health points.

This HP comes at a drawback though: they will need to eat often and a lot.
