Want to deal lethal damage from a distance? Then you need a ranged assassin character inEnshrouded.With the right combination of skill nodes, armor, and weapons, you can achieve exactly that.
To have the ranged assassin build to be as effective as possible, you’ll allocate all the needed dexterity nodes and use a ranged bow as your main weapon. Since the character would be an assassin, it seems fitting to build around the last main skill node from the assassin’s skill tree and improve from there. Here’s the best ranged assassin setup you can do for your character.

The Best Ranged Assassin Skill Nodes
Here’s a quick list of all the mandatory and somewhat usable skills from the skill tree.

How To Play A Ranged Assassin Build

The Multishot skill point gives you thatextra burst of damage when shooting your arrows, allowing you to have more instances of damage and, ultimately, a greater chance of getting a critical strike.
The Multishot skillconsumes more arrows than usual. If Multishot procs and you fire three arrows instead of one, you’ll lose three arrows instead of one. With this in mind, using good and expensive arrows will drain your quiver quite fast.
The Chain Reaction skill requires you to use Explosive Arrows exclusively. Every time you hit an enemy with an Explosive Arrow, you’ll have another 20 percent chance of triggering another explosion for half the damage.
Combine this with a Multishot proc, and you may hypothetically have six explosions in one shot. Most enemies don’t have enough health to live through this, but it doesn’t matter, right?Everyone wants more damage.
Backstab is only efficient when you have another player or friend in the frontline. If you are alone, the enemies will go directly to you, leaving you no opportunity to backstab unless you like to sneak around and get one backstab shot before the fight even begins.
Ring of Ancients

The best food buffslisted might look like a long grocery list, but these are all worth it for maximizing your damage output.You can opt to use just the Bell Pepper and Tomato, but it is good to have the others on reserve, especially if you are fighting a boss.
If you have afarm set up, you can startcookingand stockpiling all these amazing food items.
If you didn’t get the Dessert Stomach skill, you can only have three active food buffs at the same time.
If you are playing solo, you might want to leave one food slot buff for a constitution orhealing buff like a Strawberryor even just a piece of Grilled Game Meat.
Build Alternatives
The whole ranged assassin build is mainly for endgame content, but you can build around the core mechanics of the build,which is stacking Dexterity for increasing damage. You can forego the Explosive Arrow skill points if you don’t like the maintenance needed for the build.
Crafting Explosive Arrows is extremely hard and might not be available for everyone yet.You can use Wooden Arrows as your fillers because these arrows only require Twigs to craft. As long as you are stacking Dexterity, your damage output is still high.
