As you sail around the world inSkull and Bones, you’ll come across plenty of fellow seafaring adventurers. If you’ve mustered up the courage to fight, these ships are full of treasure just waiting to be looted. Sinking enemy ships and collecting treasure in the aftermath is a solid strategy, but you’ll earn more valuables by boarding enemy ships.
By executing a Crew Boarding, the loot gained will vastly increase. You may even receive rare items that aren’t revealed to you when using a Spyglass on a ship. Before you can execute a Crew Boarding, you’ll need to weaken your target and stick close to them.

How To Board Ships
First you need tofind a ship and initiate combatwith your target. Continue with battle as normaluntil the enemy ship is at less than half health.Once the ship’s health bar starts flashing blue, you’ll see the option for a Crew Boarding while aiming down your sights.
Aim at the ships' weakpointsto deal additional damage.Weakpoints are highlighted in red, often appearing as crates or equipment on the deck of the ship.

By activating the Crew Boarding, your crew will send out a flurry of hooksto wherever you aim. The goal is toget as many hooks as possible to land on the enemy shipfor successful boarding. Once enough hooks land on the ship, your crew will reel in your opponent andyou’ll be free to plunder all the ship’s contents.
The grappling hooksneed to land on top of the ship’s deckin order to stick properly. Shooting a bunch of grappling hooks into the ship’s hullwon’t allow you to initiate a Crew Boarding. It’s best totry shooting your hooks slightly upwardsas if you’re aiming for the sails.
