You’re nearing the end of your Full Moon operations inPersona 3 Reloadwhen you head to the train station to take on Fortune and Strength for the October Full Moon. These two Shadows attack in tandem, but the caveat is that only one can technically be damaged at once.
Between turns, you’ll also need to worry about the Wheel of Fortune, a randomized roulette wheel that either helps or hurts both teams in the battle depending on the color of the segment it stops on. However, the right team dealing the right damage can make this fight a breeze.

Fortune And Strength Full Moon Operation Overview
Recommended Party
Though former versions of Persona 3 allowed you to cheese this battle by making the opposing Shadows afraid and using one of your Personas to insta-kill any enemy stricken with Fear, Persona 3 Reload has removed this cheat, so you’ll need to fight Fortune and Strength the old-fashioned way in P3R.
Ahead on10/4is a fight againsttwo individual Shadows, with one of them attacking you from hiding while the other fights the heavier part of yourtwo-part battle. The first Shadow deals impressive Strength-based attacks and barely takes damage from physical moves, while the other focuses on Wind magic and can be handled with either magic or might.

Since you’ll be handling both of these Shadows intwo separate phases individual of one another, you’d do well to forget multi-target moves for now, sinceyou can only hit one Shadow at once. However,Strength having no weaknesses, you’ll need tobring teammateswith strong Magic damageto handle her another way.

Fortune And Strength Full Moon Battle Guide
Phase One: Arcana Strength
When the fight begins,Strength makes Fortune invincible, which essentially forces you tobattle the Shadows one at a time, beginning with Strength. Unfortunately, not only willFortune still attackdespite not being able to take damage yet, but every other turn, it spins theWheel of Fortune.
In P3R, the Wheel of Fortune itself is a bit different from how it was before. When the Fortune Shadow spins the Wheel of Fortune, red spacesinflict anegative impact for SEES and the Shadows, while theblue spacesinstead (and thankfully) bring apositive impact for both SEES and the Shadows.

Effects from the Wheel of Fortune include:
Previous versions of the game saw only SEES impacted by one color, while only the Shadows were impacted by the other. Now, both colors impact both sides, just differently depending on the color.
The first time this happens during battle, you’ll receive a positive effect, which allows Fuuka to cut in and explain. Once she does and the flow of the battle is established, use strong elemental attacks to deal damage to Strength, buffing the team as needed to deal more damage while taking less of it themselves.

Strength has a huge health pool, but she does go down eventually after hammering it on with heavy damage and consistent use of your Theurgy skills. When it does, you’ll now be able tobegin attacking Fortuneas well, what with its protector’s spell gone.
Phase Two: Arcana Fortune
Unlike Strength and its impressive elemental immunities, however, Fortune isweak to Strikes and Electric damage. And the first time you hit this Shadow, you’ll understand why it goes second - it’sconsiderably weaker than Strength, who is no longer around to protect it.
That makes Arcana Fortune especially easy to Down if you have Akihiko in the party. Whether it’s him or your protagonist, exploit these weaknesses to Down the Fortune Shadowto deal massive amounts of damage as a group.
Fortune will continue toalternate between spinning the Wheel of Fortune and attacking your party outright, so the best course of action is to Down it as often as you can to deal a heftier amount of damage.
Lay into the second Shadow until it goes down to finish the battle, and then watch as the SEES group changes forever during the lengthy post-fight cutscene.
