Yappi will welcome you to take on this challenge at your convenience viaone of the five sectorsthat make up the dungeon.

The Big Swell Structure

The Big Swellis a massive dungeon withfive separate sectorsof floors and fights to overcome if you want to reach the boss of each sector, and eventually, the Game Master.

Each sector is broken up into five floors, with each floor’s door guarded by a set of Keepers – difficult boss-like enemies – and their minions.

Each sector also has a difficultboss fight on the fifth floor, so floors B5F, B10F, B15F, B20F, and B25F will feature your most difficult challenges.

Since enemy locations and dungeon formats are randomized, many of the standard fights can be missed or skipped, depending on your RNG.

Therefore, we will solely be looking at themandatory Keeper and Boss fights.

Sawashiro – Blue

Electric

The first four floors of Sector One are relatively easy, especially if youmaintain an equal or higher level to your opponentsand use their weaknesses to your advantage.

The Sawashiro triois your first real challenge, as they mimic each of the forms Sawashiro takes when you fight him in the flesh.

For this fight, and most instances where you face a mixed-weakness crowd, focus on area of effect(AoE) attacks that hit at least one foe’s weakness.

While hitting enemies who resist your damage isn’t ideal, taking chunks of HP out before you directly target them will make it much easier to win the fight, rather than focusing on only single-target damage.

Fire

One

Sector Two starts to raise the bar, and B6F – B9F will challenge your team a bit more than prior floors.

However, usingSkills that target enemy weaknessesis an immense help, and will clear each battle without too much thought.

The Giant Shark on B10F is where the battle picks up, as it can attack your entire team with a single turn, andmight inflict either bleed or fear.

Kasuga can use either the Hero or Sujimancer Jobthroughout the Big Swell, but the extra source of Fire elemental damage is very important against the Giant Shark.

Tomizawa is an excellent choice here using a variety of Jobs, but verify he has theOil and Toil Skillfrom his Cabbie Job.

This Skill will further increase the Giant Shark’s weakness to Fire and will allow your team to inflicthuge chunks of damage in a single turn.

Continue to use Oil and Toil with as many Fire-based Magic skills from Kasuga’s Sujimancer Job as possible to defeat this monster of the sea.

Ice, Fire & Electric

Sector Three’s floors are no joke and will push you to your limits.

You shouldrefill your MP and HPbefore battling any of the boss groups on these floors.

Enemies like theTop Dog can inflict massive damageand even stun your party members.

Enemy weaknesses are an essential advantage to exploit during battles and will be the only simple path to victory.

However, even more importantly, you shoulduse a balanced team equipped with a strong healerat this point in the dungeon, as pure offensive strategies will lead to doom.

The Dojo Master and Prized Fightersare particularly dangerous foes that can execute combos in waves if you do not whittle their numbers quickly.

Sector Three’s bosses are Bryce and Ebina, a challenging duo you encounter separately during Infinite Wealth’s final sequence.

Each man is exceedingly dangerous, butBryce is your priority targetdue to the sheer amount of AoE damage he can inflict with his guns.

Essentially,Bryce operates as the offensive memberof the duo, while Ebina is more focused on defense and healing.

Target Bryce with as many Essence Attacks as possible; don’t worry if they’re not AoE.

Joongi Hanis a superb choice for this battle, as his Blade and Gun Skillswill make short work of Bryce.

Once Bryce is taken care of, focus on debuffing Ebina and inflicting him with status conditions like burn and paralysis while youunload elemental Skills on him.

Blade

Sector Five is whereJoongi Han and Tomizawabecome nearly mandatory members of your party, as their combination of versatile Jobs and Skills makes thempowerful offensive threats.

Joongi Han’s Hitman Jobwill provide Blade and Gun Skills to tear through groups and single targets alike.

Tomizawa as a Cabbie, Pyrodancer, or Hostshould be able to capitalize on enemies weak to elemental attacks, namely Majima on the final floor of the sector.

When you reachMajima and Yamaion B20F,focus all your attacks on Majimato get him out of the fight ASAP.

Majima can use his Doppelganger Skill to create copies of himself and give your foes more opportunities for attacking turns.

Defeat Majima withFire-based Skillsand his copies will disappear as well.

If you haveKiryu as the Dragon of Dojimaon your team, hisEssence of the Dragon God Skillis one of the most useful options here, as it inflictsheavy damage to Majima.

The Big Swell’s Sector Five is the hardest challenge in Infinite Wealth, boasting numerous high-damage enemies with huge amounts of HP to fend you off.

Be wary of the Weeping Archdemon duoand their AoE Skills that can disrupt your team and eviscerate your HP.

The undisputed most difficult fight is againstthe Big Swell’s boss: The Game Master a.k.a. the Blessed Leviathan.

While it’s technically only one boss, the Blessed Leviathan also has two tentacles.

These tentacles each have separate turns and their own weaknesses.

The Right Tentacle is weak to Fire while the Left Tentacle is weak to Gun Skills.

Focus on defeating both tentacles first, then you’re able to direct all of your attacks toward the Leviathan itself.

If the tentacles survive for enough turns, they willgrab a party member and toss them into the Leviathan’s stomach.

Once you’re in the stomach, you must destroy all ink sacs you see to be released.

It’s best to balance betweendefeating the tentacles and releasing your trapped party membersbefore directing your attacks on the helpless Leviathan to beat the Big Swell.
