The most important thing you need to remember about this battle is the"main enemy unit" part while starting it can be quite deceiving. The screen only shows Soldiers and Knights as the main units, but you get an equal amount of Armored enemies and Wizards. You’ll be fighting a total of four groups of enemies.
The unit on the enemy command post can spawn reinforcements, butit usually won’t get to that partsince the battle is quite quick.
Upon entering battle, you’ll witness a Wizard unit covered by a bunch of Mantlets while the Knight and the Armored unitmove towards your nearest unit or the command post. Your best bet to winning this battle is making one team with Gryphon Knights and another with magick users like Auch.
You’ll have to beat theSelf-Effacing Sorcerer questto recruit Auch, while the best way to acquire Gryphon Knights is bybeating the Battle For Paradis and hiring them at the fort.
How To Beat The Battle For Lisiere
You’ll have a much easier time finishing this battle if you’ve finished the Princess, Abducted quest sinceLaurent will appear to help you out with his own unit. If you don’t have Laurent, you can have the Gryphon Knight team go after the Knight unit from the enemy followed by the Wizards covered by Mantlets.
Laurent can deal with theWizards inside Mantletsif you have his help. His unit will lose a ton of HP, but you won’t need them after this.
You also have to make sure that the unit with Auch is the one fighting the Armored unit sincehis magic can take away their health quite fast. After beating all three smaller units, you have to use a specific setup for the final one. Enemy Soldiers are great at piercing through your units and hitting the back line. There are two ways to counter this:
The best team to beat the final unit in this battle would consist of a Gryphon Knight to deal with the Knight while yourHunters or magick users attack the Soldiers in the back. Bringing a Soldier on your side can also be a good idea since one of the enemy soldiers sits right behind the Knight, making it easy to pierce.
