Palworldis a survival game that takes you to Palpagos Island, a place full of mysteries and challenges. To build a new life in this wonderful place, you must befriend numerous monsters called Pals, who harness the force of the elements; however, some will be harder to catch than others.
The two most powerful Alpha Boss Pals in the game arePaladiusandNecromus, and both will be waiting for you in a desolate desert region. However, you cannot challenge one without the other getting involved in the battle, which can present a hard challenge.
Palworld is currently in Early Access, so the content is subject to change. We will update our articles as needed.
Where To Find Paladius
Paladius can be found in the Desert region, more precisely at the coordinates 446,678. However, something that the map doesn’t disclose is that he’s not alone, andanother Alpha Boss legendary called Necromus will be roaming with him, so whenever you attack one of them, both will respond.
It’s worth noting that if you attack Necromus at night while Paladius sleeps, it will attack you alone.

How To Beat Paladius And Noctamus
Ok, there is no simple way to say this, butyou won’t be able to win this fight if your equipment isn’t fully maxed.From weapons to armor pieces,be sure to have every tool at your disposal in its best shape, as this fight will be quite an endeavor.
Now, on the Pal side, it is highly suggested to go with a team as upgraded as possible, sotake your time to assemble a team that can inflict both Dragon and Dark-type moves to take advantage of the enemy’s weaknesses.Pals likeJetragon,Frostallion Noct, Astegon, Shadowbeak, and Orserk are among your best choices, and you should also invest in upgrading their stats through the Pal Essence Condenser.
Once the fight begins, both Pals will start attacking you, soyou should quickly release your Pal to divert the attention.The region where the fight will occur has little to no cover, so you may eithertry hiding behind dunes or any tree you can find, or choose a different approach and attack from the air instead by riding a flying Pal.
First, Necromus hasDark Laser, a charged attack where it releases a powerful Dark-type beam,Rock Lance, a homing attack that will create a rocky spike that will hit you from underneath the floor, and finally,Twin Spears, where Necromus gets imbued in shadows and thencharges at you, releasing multiple fast spear attacks.While the two first attacks are quite easy to evade with the right timing,with Twin Spears it’s not enough to just get out of the way, as Necromus can change direction while it releases the multiple spear attacks, and you must create as much distance as you can, or you’ll be dead very soon.
Paladius, on the other hand, hasBlizzard Spike, an icy missile attackthat you may easily avoid,Pal Blast, a charged attack where it releases a powerful beam of light, and its signature attackSpear Thrust, where it clads itself in light and charges at you, similarly to Necromus' Twin Spears, but only one attack this time. However,it will shield itself while it does this,so there’s no way for you to inflict damage or interrupt the attack at all, andyour only option is, once again, to create as much distance as you can between your character and Paladius.
Regardless of your method of choice to face this fight,both Pals have many moves at their disposal, and they will be relentless.However,if you’re persistent enough you should be able to chip away their HP consistently,and once you successfully defeat or catch the two strongest Legendary Pals, you will obtain the following items:
