As you climb the Tower of Demise inPersona 3 Reload, you’ll encounter different bosses that keep you from reaching the top. Each one has unique affinities that make you readjust your party and approach it with a new strategy. No two bosses are the same, which makes uncovering their weaknesses difficult if you’re unprepared.
Obsessive Sand is a fairly simple boss to beat, but that doesn’t mean you may skip preparations. You’ll need to bring your toughest party members and strategize to make sure Obsessive Sand goes down quickly. Here’s everything you need to know to make sure you win this battle and move to the next floor.

When youreach floor 230 in Tartarus, you’ll encounter Obsessive Sand. This boss seems straightforward and resembles other shadows you’ve encountered. However, this onehas no weaknesses. It’s resistant to all elements as well.

Best Party Composition
While Obsessive Sand is resistant to all elements, it’s still worth bringing party members likeMitsuru, who can inflict freezeonto the shadow. Bring Yukari to be your healer, butleave Koromaru at the entrance. His weakness to light will make himan easy target.
Phsyical Skills will take priorityhowever, so consideradding Akihiko and Aigisto the party. Your Personas cansupplement the coveragein your party, allowing you to fill in any gaps oract as support.
Junpei is a great addition to the team thanks to his Physical skills!
Other than that,any characters will work well. If they have theirTheurgy skills available, it’s worth adding them. You’ll want characters that canbuff attack, debuff defenseand accuracy, anddeal plenty of damage in one turn.
How To Beat Obsessive Sand
Tobeat Obsessive Sand, you’ll need to spend yourfirst few turns buffing and debuffing. With access to Diarahan, Obsessive Hand willfully restore its own HPonce it gets too low, undoing all your hard work.
Instead, focus onincreasing your attackand lowering Obsessive Sand’s defense. Then, goall out with your attackonce you’re ready. Your best chance to trigger an All-Out Attack is toget a critical hit, so useskills like Revolutionto increase the chances.
If you may inflict Freeze,a standard melee attackwill knock them down.
Once Obsessive Sand is defeated, you can move on to the next floor.
