How To Beat Marcus And Faleris

Most Tower bosses in the game stick to the ground and hardly take flight. However, if you are comfortable with this approach, then you need to change gears.Faleris flies most of the time in the air. Hence, an arsenal such as a grenade does not work in this boss fight.

Since the boss flies and hurls lightning and fire-based attacks, using an Assault Rifle and a shotgun is the best course of action here.

Weapon Choice

A Rocket Launcher of any rarity is an absolute requirement to take down the Tower of the PIDF Marcus and Faleris. Each rocket deals a massive amount of damage, and you can potentially spam them should you have enough rocket ammo.

If not, thenext best gun you should keep in your arsenal is Assault Rifle. The rapid fire rate and high damage are enough to deplete the boss’s health quickly, though you’ll needa lot of Rifle ammo; potentially 500 rounds and above, since the boss’s hp is near 150,000.

Armor Choice

The Desert biome is also hot, like the Volcano region in the game. Therefore, you need to equip armor that grants you heat resistanceand offers a lot ofdamage protectionto withstand the boss’s attacks. We recommend equipping Heat Resistant Refined Metal Armor with the highest damage and heat protection.

Heat Resistant Undershirt +2, a rare accessory item, can also provide heat resistance in the Desert biome if you do not have a dedicated heat insulation armor piece.

Best Pals For Boss Fight

Faleris is a fire-based pal,and it isweak against water-based palsin the game. Bringing Fuack, Gobfin, and Celaray will prove beneficial as the attack from these water-based pals hits the boss harder.

Make sure your water-based pals are level 35or above. Faleris is one of the end-game bosses, and it can potentially destroy your pal party if they are under-leveled.

Best Strategy

Watch out for Faleris’s fire breath. Whenever you are at a distance and constantly shoot the boss, it will close the gap and unleash this attack. Ithas close range, soyou can dodge awayfrom it and avoid taking damage. Alternatively, hiding behind a pillar also helps.

Faleris, at times, will light the ground on a firein a circular shape. ThisAoE attack takes a few seconds before the fire can actually hurt you. The best course of action here will be to get out of the zone and call back your pal as well, saving it from taking unnecessary damage.

Faleris will also summon a fireballthat splits intosmaller projectiles. This attack is predictable, and you can dodge or run either on the left or right side to avoid it. Other than this, the boss also charges a fireball bomb and hurls it at your character. This attack has a higher AoE range, so sprinting and dodging timely is required to avoid taking any damage.

After exhausting most of the predictable fire attacks,Faleris sometimes sends two fire tornadoes. These start very slow but then speed up and rush in a trajectory you are standing.

Besides fire-based attacks, Faleris also unleashes electric-based attacks. Asmall AoE attack is very commonwhen you are within a medium range of the boss; if you see Faleris charging a beam, start sprinting in the left or right. This beam tracks you for a few seconds and will deal massive damage if you are not quick on your feet.

For offense, you need tokeep targeting Marcus’s or Faleris’s heads for critical damage. Body shots will waste precious ammo, and the tradeoff is not worth dealing minimal damage when you’re able to do high damage instead.Use your pals to get the boss’s attention, and then you strike back.

Repeat this process while keeping your health in check, and you should be able to beat Marcus and Faleris in the game within a ten-minute time frame.
