Isolated Castle Affinity And Skills
This boss has outstanding defense with a skill lineup that will cause most teams to fall over in just a round or two.
Affinities and Weaknesses

Attacks and Skills
Deals medium Fire element damage to all enemies

Deals medium Ice element damage to all enemies
Deals medium Electric element damage to all enemies
Magarula
Deals medium Wind element damage to all enemies
The Isolated Castle presents an affinity challenge unlike any your team has faced thus far. First off, the castle hasno weaknesses, physical or elemental.
Isolated Castle makes things far worse by alsonullifying all elemental attacks. That is correct; everything from Fire, Ice, Wind, Electric, Light, and even Dark will not affect this giant.
Floor Guardian Isolated Castle has four different skills that govern each of the different basic elements;Maragion being Fire, Mabufula being Ice, Mazionga being Electric, and Magarula being Wind.
These skills are also the area-of-effect versions, meaning they willhit your whole team.
Isolated Castle Battle Guide
Onfloor 143of the maze-like tower of Tartarus, you will encounter the near-impenetrable wall that is the Isolated Castle. There is no consistent or reliable way to knockdown this boss for All-Out attacks, so you will have to roll the dice andget lucky with some physical critical strikes.
Isolated Castle has a broad moveset that can hit a variety of elemental weaknesses, so your team is going to need toconsist of members that do not have weaknesses to Fire, Wind, Electricity, or Ice.
Bring Koromaru For Increased Critical Chance
Koromaru is already an amazing option because he hasno weaknesses to any of the four elemental attacksthat Isolated Castle can use, but his usefulness does not end there.
Koromaru’s Persona, Cerberus, is innately able to use Revolution.Revolution significantly increases all allies’ critical strike rate for three turns.
When you consider that the only way to knock down the Isolated Castle is with lucky criticals, then you will see that using Revolution is like gambling in your favor.
Start Koromaru’s round off by using Revolution. On his next available turn, you will want touse Getsu-ei. Getsu-ei is apowerful Slash attackthat has a pretty goodchance to critically hit;add that together with Revolution, and Koromaru will have a fair chance to Down Isolated Castle.
Shinjiro Is A Critical Striking Machine
The first reason you should choose Shinjiro is because he also does not possess any weaknesses to the boss’s attacks. Not only that, but Shinjiro is a pure physical attacker, so he will not have to worry about the annoying affinities that this boss has.
He is also able to use the moveBloody Charge, which will consume HP toincrease the critical strike rate of his next physical attack damage. At level 46, he also gains access to the move Deathbound, which does severe damage and has a pretty good chance of critting.
Shinjiro’s plan of attack for the whole fight is tojust keep pummeling the castle, using Bloody Charge, Deathbound, and basic attacks to hope for a lucky crit.
The Protagonist Can Debuff
Bring along a Persona for the protagonist that can useTarunda, Rakunda, or both. Tarunda would be preferred here, as it reduces the boss’s attack for three turns, which can be the difference between life and death in this fight.
A great Persona to consider bringing to this fight is theFool Arcana Ose. Ose has the spellMatarunda, which is just the multi-target version of Tarunda. Start your turn off by casting Matarunda, then on subsequent turns continue to use Ose’sDeathbound or Tempest Slashto farm for critical strikes.
The Protagonist also has access to theJack Brothers Theurgy, which does Almighty damage - the only school of magic Isolated Castle cannot resist - and has a high chance of knocking the boss down for that important All-Out attack.
Ken Will Be Your Healer And Support
Again, you will choose another character, Ken, who is not weak to Wind, Fire, Ice, or Electricity. Ken will bring along a slew of other useful skills for this fight as well.
His Persona, Nemesis, innately knows the healing moveMediarama, which is able to heal all of your allies in that turn, which is especially useful since Isolated Castle only uses area-of-effect attacks.
When not supporting, Ken shouldspend his turns using normal physical attacks to take advantage of Revolutionwhile it is active.
He also has access toMakarakarn, which can save someone’s life in this encounter. Makarakarncreates a barrier in front of one ally that will repel a single magic attackback at Isolated Castle, both protecting them and damaging the boss all at the same time. Use this as alast-ditch effortto protect a teammate who is about to fall!
