InPersona 3 Reload, Tartarus is a towering dungeon filled with enemies called shadows. These creatures will attempt to stop you from reaching the top of the tower. Every few floors will reveal a mini-boss known as a Gatekeeper, which will test your skill and strength. If you defeat them, you can move forward.
The Appropriating Noble is one such boss, but they’re not alone. The Invasive Serpents that flank it make this battle much harder, but with the right strategy, you can defeat them. Here’s everything you need to know to emerge victorious and ascend to the next floor.

Appropriating Noble Overview
As youreach floor 246, Fuuka alerts you to a new gatekeeper. This time, it’sone Appropriating Noble and two Invasive Serpents. These make for a devious duo that will send your party running if you’re not prepared.
Thankfully,each of these shadows has a weakness, so this fight doesn’t have to be difficult if you lan accordingly. Here’s a breakdown of both shadows' affinities and abilities so you’re able to know what to expect:

How To Beat Appropriating Noble
At the start of combat,Appropriating Noble will sap half of your SP. This allows it to fuel its own attacks, so be prepared. The twoserpent shadows should be eliminatedas soon as possible. They only serve topoison the party, debuff your attacks, and sap your SP.
You can alsouse All-Out Attacksand eachparty member’s Theurgyto take large chucks of HP from each enemy. This fight doesn’t have to take long if you focus on targeting each shadow’s weakness, initiating an All-Out Attack, rinse and repeat.
Make sure toshift between party membersto maximize efficiency!
When poisoned,make sure to cure itas soon as possible. When poisoned, youwon’t be able to use All-Out Attacks, and you’ll continue to take damage each turn.
The battle will wrap up after a few turns, if all goes according to plan, and you’ll move on to the next floor of Tartarus.
