Admittedly, there’s very little true romance, as it’s mostly about steamy encounters. After all, you can’t expect moonlight dinners and walks on the beach when living in a wasteland. These encounters can happen in every main Fallout game, but how many romantic options do you have?
You Can Romance 39 People In The Fallout Series
Throughout the Fallout series, there are39 different people you can romance.Not all of the romances are romantic, as this number counts one-time flings and paid companionship, as well as genuine relationships.
Also, in this instance, the term ‘people’ accounts for Ghouls and robots. So, the famous robot Fisto counts.
Both Fallout 2 andFallout: New Vegasare tied for the most romances.Both offer 12 people to engage with, and most of them require in-game payment.
By contrast,Fallout 3has the fewest amount of romanceable characters.Nova is the only one to offer you a night of passion in this game. There are hints of a relationship with your childhood friend Amata, but it never goes anywhere.

Twelve of the 39 people you’re able to romance in the series are companions.Fallout 4has the most romanceable companions, with eight. In fact, most of the romantic options in Fallout 4 are companions.
While they’re technically called allies and not companions inFallout 76, they still count. So, the two romanceable characters in that game, Sofia and Beckett, have gone towards the number.
Interestingly, despite having the joint most romantic options,Fallout: New Vegas doesn’t include any companions you can romance.
Comparatively, the other game with the most romances, Fallout 2, has two romanceable companions. Yet, it’s a bit more unusual than that. This is because Miria and Davin aren’t actually companions until you marry them. So, they’re romance options that become companions instead of the other way around, which is a rare sight.
