Across theAce Attorneyseries (or Turnabout Trial as it’s known in Japan), we have been witness to a great many cases and just as many emotions. They teeter on the line of absurdity but have a genuinely solid degree of intrigue at times to really pull you into the case. Even when a parrot is a witness.
With four full collections out there right now and available on modern platforms, you might be wondering how many cases there are across them all. That’s a pretty good question! Well, you may bet there’s a whole bunch of trials for you to get a verdict on.

Updated September 6th, 2024 by Hilton Webster:With another new collection of Ace Attorney games graciously laid before us, we’ve updated this article to highlight some of Miles Edgeworth’s own personal achievements from the Investigations games, which are right up there with Wright’s own.

And How Many Cases Are There In Each Ace Attorney Game?
With the number of games out of the way, let’s break down how many cases there are in each game.
A fun fact lost in translation is thatPhoenix Wright’s actual Japanese name is Ryuichi Naruhodo, more obviously connecting him with Ryunosuke.

Five Cases
On average, we’re seeingaround five cases per game. Considering they tend to only get more complex as the games go on, they’ll take up plenty of your time.
Dual Destinies was also the first Ace Attorney game totransition to 3D.

So How Many Cases Are There In Total?
On average, each game in the series has about five entries.
That’s a pretty respectable number, considering their length, too. There’s not exactly replayability as there is only one outcome, but it may well take you long enough to figure out the result, considering how much the game likes to throw in a twist.
No single game holds the record as having the most cases, withboth Dual Destinies and Spirit of Justice having six cases total, including DLC.
No one game has the lowest amount either, asApollo Justice: Ace Attorney and Justice For All both have only four cases.
As a grandtotal across the whole series, you’re looking at 50 cases. That’s including the three DLC cases as well. That’s a pretty hefty number of cases. Plenty to get your courtroom appetite sated.
