Foamstarsputs a heavy emphasis on online play, letting you play against other Foamstars in 4v4 matches or work together in PvE matches. You’ll find yourself facing off against eccentric characters, shooting foam at them, and trying to get enough Chills to win the match. As you play, you’ll earn experience points that count toward a Season Pass.
The Season Pass rewards you with new outfits, cosmetics, and even characters. But how does the Season Pass work, what can you get from it, and how long does it usually last? You can quickly level up and make the most of your online play by learning how you earn points. Doing so will help you determine if you should put money into the Season Pass or stick with the free version.
Premium And Free Season Pass Differences
The Premium and Free Season Passes use the same levels, except theFree Season Pass doesn’t give as many rewards. For instance, your first reward happens at Level Four.
Once you reach Level Four, you’llget a free reward every three levels:levels four, seven, ten, etc.
This currentlyapplies to the Starry Pop Season Pass, and it may change in the future.
Once you reach Level 40, every level after that will give youthree Energy Stones.
How To Unlock Season Pass Levels
Luckily, the game has a straightforward system where playing will earn you experience points. This applies to all the game modes, such as Versus or Missions.
If you want to level up even faster, you canuse Party Poppers, which will give you and your teammates additional experience points. To use one, simply open the Party Poppers menu while selecting your character for a match.
Otherwise, it’s pretty straightforward, wherewinning, match length, and completing Challenges give you Experience. You can access the Challenges by opening the Pause menu, selecting Challenge, and going through them.
Challenges come in three forms:Anytime, Events, and Weekly.Anytime and Events will give you rewards, whileWeekly will give you Experience and Party Poppers.
The Challenges can vary between completingSquad Missions, going to Extreme Parties, or simply shooting enough foam.
How Long Does A Season Pass Last?
Currently, theStarry Pop Season Pass lasts one month. With 40 levels, you can aim to get two levels a day and be in a comfortable position by the end of the Pass.
However, you shouldn’t take too long sinceWeekly Challenges can boost your numbers. Instead,commit a few hours a day, and you’ll find yourself leveling up in no time.
You’ll alsoearn every previous reward when you purchase the Season Pass, so you could always hold off on buying it until you reach the levels you want.

With the Starry Pop Season Pass available, you’ll want to know what you’re able to expect from each reward tier. Remember that thePremium Pass also gets the free rewards.

If you want to be sure to get the rewards and unlockable character but aren’t sure you’ll be able to make it with the free pass, you’ll need to be safe and get the Season Pass or risk losing the chance to get the rewards.
