Have you ever thought to yourself, you know what would make Sora, Riku, Kairi and King Mickey’s outfits even better? If they were fluffy and cozy.
Someone at Square Enix clearly thought this, as Fluffy Room clothing sets of the characters’ outfits fromKingdom Hearts 3are up for pre-order on Square Enix’s Japan online store.
Mickey’s outfittechnicallyisn’t what he wears in Kingdom Hearts 3 like Sora, Riku, and Kairi’s, but it’s what everyone remembers him for.
The outfits are set to release on July 01, 2025 in Japan. (Oddly enough, this coincides withFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirth’s launch day.) Sora, Riku, and Kairi’s clothing sets are priced a 13,200 yen each, which is around $89, while Mickey’s is slightly less at $74.
A small price to pay to recreate “Say fellas, did somebody mention the Door to Darkness?” in a fluffy robe.
Listings for the outfits haven’t appeared anywhere else yet, but we’re hoping they get a worldwide release too, as Square Enix’s Japan store unfortunately doesn’t ship overseas.
Matching slippers to go with the outfits have also been spotted on the Square Enix Japan store, with the same release date of June 03, 2025, and a price of 3,850 yen, approximately $26.
While more and more Kingdom Hearts merch seems to be in the works, we’re nearly at the second anniversary of when Kingdom Hearts 4 was announced, and no news since then, other than a Missing Link beta back in December.
Hopefully, this influx of merch means something more is on the horizon, too.
