The gaming world has been gripped byFinal Fantasy 7 Rebirthfor the past two weeks. The second in the Remake trilogy, and the first game in the remade series where whatSquare Enixis up to is starting to become clear. Square’s hope will be a whole new generation of gamers fall in love with Cloud and the gang, and that merch like the Buster Sword necklace below will appeal toFinal Fantasy 7fans who have been around for 20 years and and a couple of weeks alike.

Available via the Square Enix store by following the link in the box below, the creators of Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth have assumed we all want to wear little Buster Swords around our necks, and let’s be honest, they’re absolutely right to assume that. The necklace is made of sterling silver which is one of the reasons it’s a little pricey. At $177.99, it’s an expensive piece of video game jewelry. However, I’ve not even gotten to the best part yet.

Final Fantasy 7 Silver Buster Sword Necklace

Buster Swords look great in any form, including as sterling silver necklaces like these. However, the best part of this Final Fantasy 7 jewelry is the materia that comes with them. Each necklace has two tiny materia gems embedded in it, and best of all, if you don’t like the way the necklace looks with a particular materia color combination, there’s another version you’re able to buy instead and both of them cost the same.

Final Fantasy 7 Silver Buster Sword Necklace

Square Enix’s Buster Sword necklace is based on the design of Cloud’s iconic weapon used through the Final Fantasy 7 series. There are two options, both made of sterling silver but with different colors of material embedded in them.

The only downside is you’re able to’t swap out the necklace’s materia and replace it with whichever color you like. There are two color combination options, though. You can choose to equip your mini Buster Sword with assist and summon materia, so a red and blue combination, or go for two magic green materia. Pre-orders for the Buster Sword necklaces are open now through the links above, and they’re expected to ship in November 2024.

Square has also releasednew Tifa and Zack Adorable Arts figuresto mark the release of Rebirth, and while those and Buster Sword necklaces are all well and good, the studio knows the one bit of Final Fantasy 7 merch we really want. A physical version of Queen’s Blood.A real-life Queen’s Blood board does existand was used by the devs during Rebirth’s development, however, there’s not been any word on whether it will be mass-produced and sold.
