A staple event at the end of summer inPersona 3 Reload, the Film Festival happening at Screen Shot movie theater over at Port Island Station is a great way to unwind at the end of your break with your buddies, taking in some films – and boosting your social stats.
With each movie you watch during P3R’s Film Festival, you’ll gain not only two points toward one of your three social stats, but also two points toward social links with your friends from school. The movies show on a set schedule during the Film Festival’s run, so don’t miss out!

The Film Festival Boosts Stats And Your Social Links
Though there’s not much to do over the summer in P3R, between the Yakushima trip and the track meet, you’ll hear two students talking about howScreen Shot hosts a film festivalevery summer at theend of August, showing a different movie each day.
Oncethe Film Festival starts on 8/17, you’ll begin to see a pop-up from the game each day when you wake up to remind you that it’s happening and urging you toinvite a friend to go with youto check it out.
If you check your phone, you’ll often have atext invitation from a friendto go if that friend doesn’t live in the dorms. However, if the game prompts you toinvite someone from the dormto join you, you’ll need to head downstairs to the lounge andtalk to your teammatesuntil you find who will go with you.
You can alsocheck the networkto see who everyone else spent time with that day to figure it out.
Not only does seeing the movie with your friendgive two points towards your social linkif you’re going with a character who has one, but each move offers a differentsocial statboostyou’ll receive for attending that day based on the content of the film.
The movies at the Film Festival in Persona 3 Reload are shown on aset schedule, so there’s no need totry to rewindor reroll in some way for a different one. We’ve included the full schedule of films shown at the Film Festival below.
Seeing a movie with your friends willconsume your afternoon time slot for the day, though, locking you out of any other social links or plans you had, so choose carefully when you accept these invitations.
If the movie boosts a skill you’ve already maxed, you may be better off skipping it unless you need to social link boost, so you can insteaddo something elsethat boosts a skill you don’t have maxed out.
Additional Film Festival Day In September
Though the Film Festival’s consecutive runends on 8/31, the day before you headback to schoolfor the second semester, there’sone more day of the Film Festival, which will be heldafter school on 9/22.
Now, though, you’ve got one more teammate than you did during the original run of the Film Festival, making this an excellent opportunity toinvite Shinjiroto join you and get to know him better now that he’s part of the team.
