Summary
Ever since theFalloutTV series revealed the Brotherhood of Steel airship, fans have been trying to figure out if it’s the same one fromFallout 4, AKA the Prydwen. The show doesn’t say, but eagle-eyed sleuths looked closer and found that you can just make out the name on the side. It might seem like a small easter egg, but as the show is set nine years after Fallout 4, it has huge ramifications.
As reported byGames Radar, the appearance of the Prydwen in the TV show means that one of two Fallout 4 endings is canon. If you side with the Railroad, the Prydwen is destroyed, and if you side with the Institute, the Brotherhood of Steel itself is destroyed. That leaves the Minutemen and Brotherhood as the only two possible options.

What Are The Brotherhood And Minutemen Endings In Fallout 4?
The Minutemen
The Minutemen actually have three endings depending on what the Sole Survivor does in their playthrough. You either destroy the Brotherhood of Steel, makean enemy out of the Railroad, or allow all three factions to coexist. Either way, the Minutemen become the dominant faction in the Commonwealth and wipe out the Institute.
This could explain why the Brotherhood of Steel moved the Prydwen to California. No longer in control of the Commonwealth, they relocate their forces to instead support the dwindling West Coast Brotherhood who are reeling from a war with the NCR.

The Brotherhood Of Steel
In this ending, the Brotherhood wipe out the RailroadandInstitute. The Sole Survivor, either Nate or Nora, are then made Sentinel. It’s possible that after taking over the Commonwealth, the Brotherhood was able to bolster its strength over the next nine years and recruit more members before taking the Prydwen to the West Coast.
There’s still a mystery as to which ending in Fallout 4 is canon, but we’ve at least whittled it down to two options. The Railroad did not prosper and the Institute has been wiped out. Nate or Nora could be an important figure in the Brotherhood of Steel by the time of the TV show, or they could still be in the Commonwealth helping the Minutemen.
The latter is why I think the Minutemen ending is more likely, as it means the show can stay on the West Coast and never have to explain the whereabouts of Nate or Nora in the Brotherhood side of the story. Granted, they’ll soon have to grapple with what happened to the Courierwhen they venture to New Vegas in season two.
