Unlike the Archer,precision aiming isn’t necessary to hit targets, as the Magick Archer features anauto-targeting systemthat locks onto enemies within the aiming circle, making it easier to master and play with.
While they boast numerous offensive skills, what sets them apart is theirability to provide support to the partyby sapping enemies' health and healing allies. Frankly speaking,there aren’t many weaknesses to the Magick Archer vocation. As you’ve seen, they excel in offense and healing. They can target enemies effectively and even handle close combat pretty well.
The only slight challenge might be in close combat range, but they can still manage it quite effectively. Just remember tomaintain distance, and even if you might face some difficulty in caves, their healing abilities make it manageable even there.

Magick Archer Weapon Skills

Looses an arrow blessed with magick that revives fallen pawns when fully charged.
If loosed too early, the arrow will instead restore the Health of any allies it strikes.

Ricochet Hunter
Looses a magickal arrow that flies wildly about, increasing in power as it ricochets off walls.
Sagittate Avalanche
Conjures and fires a multitude of magickal arrows.
Arrows can be concentrated on a single target or on a single point on a target.
Sedative Bolt
Soporific Bolt
Fires a magickal bolt that adds to target’s sleep value on impact.
Amount added increases the longer the bolt is charged, but as the sleep value is variable, firing multiple bolts is most effective.
Sparkchain Stake
Boltchain Stake
Looses a stake imbued with magickal lightning, piercing a hostile target or the ground.
If stakes land near to each other, crackling bolts spark between them, dealing damage to foes.
Vimtaking Arrow
Lifetaking Arrow
Looses an arrow hexed with magick that saps the Health of hostile targets in the line of fire and grants it to allied pawns.
The more targets the arrow hits, the more Health will be recovered.
Magick Archer Core Skills
The Magick Archer employs two distinct bow techniques:Pinpoint VolleyandRivet Shot. Depending on whether you’re facing multiple enemies or a single large monster, these techniques can be utilized differently to suit various situations.
Pinpoint Volley excels attargeting multiple enemies simultaneously, while Rivet Shot providesa more focused attack on a single target or its weak spots.
Effect
Conversion
Alteration ability affects the magickal arrows of the user. You have two choices:
Pinpoint Volley
This skill allows you to aim at multiple targets or multiple points on a single target before firing with precision.
You can use it while on the move.
Rivet Shot
This skill enables you to aim at a single target or a specific point on a target before firing with precision.
You can utilize it while moving.
Climactic Arrow
Enhances the damage dealt with Pinpoint Volley and Rivet Shot when released immediately after fully drawing the bow.
Scopic Sight
Extends the range at which you can lock onto targets when using Pinpoint Volley or Rivet Shot.
Tracker’s Sight
Increases the maximum number of lock-on targets when using Pinpoint Volley or Rivet Shot.
Protracting Arrow
After using a fire, ice, or lightning weapon skill, that elemental effect is transferred to arrows fired with Quickfire, Pinpoint Volley, and Rivet Shot.
This effect remains active for a brief duration.
Quickfire
Launches a trio of magical arrows that scatter forward. It can be used while moving.
If used while clinging to or pinning down a target, it directly pierces the target with an arrow.
Magick Archer Augments
Augmentsin Dragon’s Dogma 2 function aspassive buffsthat boost your character’s stats or grant advantages to both your Arisen and your pawn. In the case of the Magick Archer, a hybrid of support and offensive roles, its augments enhance certain base stats of your party.

An augment enhances the physical defense and magick defense of pawns in your party.
Voracity
Grants a small stamina recovery when you deliver the killing blow to a target.
Boosts the strength and magick of pawns in your party.
Amelioration
Decreases the time it takes for fallen pawns to revive.
