Planet Zoo: Console Edition
Thisbase game editionhas everything you need to get started in your zoo management career. It contains all72 base game animals, andfour game modes: career mode, franchise mode, challenge mode and sandbox mode.
Planet Zoo: Deluxe Edition
The deluxe edition is available as a standalone add-on, or bundled with the base game. It adds16 new animals from the Wetlands and Southeast Asia, as well astwo new campaign scenarios.

Planet Zoo Console Edition: Ultimate Edition
This edition featureseverything in the Deluxe Edition as well as the upcoming Season Pass,which will comprise 14 DLC packs. These add81 animals, 15 campaign scenarios, and over 2000 new scenery itemsto the game.
The Season Pass content will be released in stages between launch and June 17, 2025.

Can You Buy A Physical Edition Of Planet Zoo: Console?
There are currentlyno plans to release a physical version of the game.All copies are digital download codes.
Does Planet Zoo Console Edition Include All The Updates Made To The PC Version?
Almost.All PC updates from the first four years,including 15 feature updates and many quality of life adjustments, currently bring the console edition almost up to date.
Update 16,which was released for PC on Jun 15, 2025, and includes modular souvenir stores, four new music tracks, and some foliage,will be coming shortly after launch.The third anniversary free animal, theCollared Peccary will also be addedsoon.
Will Planet Zoo: Console Edition Include All The DLC On PC?
After launch,14 DLC packs will be available over time. These will be purchasable individually or as part of the Season Pass that comes with the Ultimate Edition. The Season Pass content will be released over the next year and completed by July 27, 2025.

As with the PC version,there is no multiplayer zoo gameplay in Planet Zoo: Console Edition.However, you cantrade animals with other players in Franchise Mode, and share your zoo creations with the community using theFrontier Workshop.

Partly.Trading on the Animal Market in Franchise mode is only available with players on the same platform. However, theFrontier Workshop is cross-platform, allowing you to share and download creations from across the entire console community.
What Are The Differences Between The PC And Console Versions?
The Console Edition has beenoptimized for controller use and also console performance.Themenus have been redesignedto allow them to be more intuitive to navigate with a controller, but the same information is still included.
You’ll also see aComplexity Meterin the console version. As your zoo becomes more detailed, this will keep track of how much needs to be loaded as you navigate the zoo. The higher this number, the more performance issues you may encounter.
This lets you decide if you want to sacrifice a little visual fidelity for that complex custom store you dreamed of, and also easily keep an eye on how different items can affect performance without having to make guesses.
