When you beginThe Outlast Trials, you won’t have access to everything in the Sleep Room area. While you can use the Terminal to start challenges, you can’t unlock Rigs, use the Pharmacy, or access the locked-off area protected by a security guard. As you play through the game, you’ll unlock more of these facilities, which will make trials easier.

What does the Pharmacy do, how do you unlock it, and what about the different tiers? As you unlock these passive abilities, they can make all the difference during trials. They offer benefits for solo and co-op players, so look through the options and see which ones will help you free the Reagents.

How To Unlock The Pharmacy

You unlock the Pharmacy when youreach Player Level Three. You’ll earn enough after completing three or so trials, but you progress towards unlocking it even if you fail trials.

Quitting trials early will forfeit any Experience Points, so if you have to stop playing, it’s better to quickly lose all your lives than to quit out of the game.

Earning Player Level 14, which includes three Vouchers in The Outlast Trials.

Once you unlock the Pharmacy, you canfind it in the Sleep Room area. When you’re facing the Terminal and Shuttles, travel right, until you reach the wall, then follow the hallway to talk with the nurse at the desk.

It’s alsoright in front of you whenever you complete a trialand return to the Sleep Room.

This is anothergreat early upgrade, but not as necessary. It’s good if you prefer to hide in dark corners when running away.

You can get this one later, since it won’t provide you with more than one fourth of your health.

It’s not as important if you listen for enemies or use the X-Ray Rig. Otherwise, it can be useful early on.

It’s useless if you play solo, buta power option to get early with a party.

Doors Basher

Break through a door in two hits rather than three.

The same as Stamina Recovery, if you tend to run out of Stamina.

Fully restore health when you’re revived from a syringe or respawn in solo play.

Everyone should get this one early, since that extra Health segment can prevent another death.

Throw a projectile at a hiding spot toget rid of enemies.

This is great if you tend to hide when escaping enemies, but nearly useless otherwise.
