From battles to manual labor, the adorable creatures inPalworlddo a majority of the heavy lifting for you. After unlocking gear further down the Technology tree, you’ll craft better weapons that will let you throw down against the mightiest beasts in the wild. But if it’s true firepower you seek, then look no further than Palworld’s six legendary weapons.

These overpowered weapons are dropped from legendary schematics from some Alpha Pals in the overworld. Because of their low drop rates and high crafting cost, you’ll want to know if it’s worth your time and effort to chase after these rare weapons.

The drop rates for the legendary schematics are incredibly low. Consider bumping up the Pal Appearance Rate and Dropped Items Multiplier in the custom difficulty slider for more chances at loot.

6Legendary Old Bow

The Legendary Old Bow is one of the first legendary schematics you’re able to acquire. You can attempt to loot the recipe from the Alpha Kingpaca boss northwest of the Small Settlement fast travel point (49, -462). Unfortunately, the Legendary Bow drops far too late, as the regular crossbow outscales it in damage while using the same ammo type.

The only saving grace for this legendary weapon is its negligible crafting cost. While it could possibly work as a niche ranged weapon to lower wild Pal’s health without killing them, there are more efficient weapons that don’t waste your time with abysmal drop rates.

5Legendary Pump-Action Shotgun

Like its base version, the Legendary Pump-Action Shotgun can chunk away health bars in the right situation. It’s best used up close against large, grounded, and relatively immobile Pals, where you can blast all your pellets for multiple critical hits. The biggest downside with the weapon is that you’re always too close for comfort, turning the game into a Soulslike against higher-level Pals.

Undoubtedly, the Legendary Pump-Action Shotgun facilitates fast-paced, risky, and fun gameplay to shake things up, but it will remain impractical for most players. If it still sounds exciting, you may find the legendary schematic on the Alpha Suzaku southeast of Duneshelter (-405, 255).

4Legendary Crossbow

When you first unlock the regular crossbow, it is already a reliable weapon, but the legendary version makes it a powerhouse you’ll bring everywhere. At 490 attack, its single-shot hits harder than most guns while only using readily available arrows. Because of its accuracy, range, and front-loaded damage, the Legendary Crossbow is great for sniping enemy pals from a safe distance.

Until you reach the point where ammo supplies become a non-issue, the Legendary Crossbow is a comfortable weapon for all-around exploring. You can grab the Legendary Crossbow Schematic from the Alpha Bushi in the Sealed Relm of the Swordmaster (-116, -490).

3Legendary Rocket Launcher

The Legendary Rocket Launcher’s 14,000 damage boasts the highest attack in Palworld. As expected, it will obliterate any enemies who have the misfortune of being near the blast zone. The Rocket Launcher shines the most when you may hit multiple Pals with one rocket, especially during boss fights in a world with additional spawn rates.

The Legendary Rocket Launcher Schematic drops from a max-level Alpha Jetragon at the northwestern portion of Mount Obsidian (-789, -322). It’s a hefty cost to craft the actual weapon and the individual rockets, as you can’t buy the ammo from vendors. Because of the upkeep cost and when you can farm for the schematic, it’s mostly a luxury item — an overpowered post-game weapon as a reward for everything you’ve done so far.

2Legendary Assault Rifle

The Legendary Assault Rifle boosts its regular version’s DPS to great heights by improving its attack and ammo count by ten. Looted from the level 49 Alpha Blazamut boss north of the Ancient Civilization Ruins (cave entrance at -433, 530), it represents your final step into Palworld’s endgame content. While it does come one level away from 50, you’ll be thankful for its raw output against the game’s final challenges.

Because of its rapid rate of fire, the Legendary Assault Rifle chews through your Rifle Ammo supply when used regularly. But at this point in the game, you should have a healthy stock of gold to buy more ammo from the merchants.

1Legendary Handgun

The Legendary Handgun comes at a perfect time in the game. You can loot the schematic from a level 29 Alpha Beakon southwest of the Deep Bamboo Thicket fast travel point (-345, 253). The legendary version nearly triples the base damage at 625, and the extra firepower is amazing at that level range.

Additionally, the Legendary Handgun doubles its base version’s ammo capacity to 16, and you can easily keep up with your supplies by buying and crafting. This weapon is a huge upgrade and remains relevant throughout the game, so it’s worth picking it up as soon as possible.
