Tianyou Zhao is the second-last member to join the team inLike A Dragon: Infinite Wealth. However, the former leader of the Liumang is worth the wait. With his powerful AOE attacks, and host of healing skills, he’s a valuable member of the team. Naturally, if you want to get the most out of him, you’ll want to engage with all his Drink Links so that he can better synergize with the team.
Zhao’s the most laid-back member of the crew, but when it comes to his cooking he’s deadly serious. That’s, of course, a big part of his Drink Link narrative. But we aren’t just here to learn more about Zhao, we’re also here to improve Kiryu’s Awakening stats. This is why we’ve listed every answer, and the Awakening stat associated with them below. You’re welcome.
Zhao Drink Link Choices
For those not in the know, you’ll unlock a Drink Link level with Zhao every time you gain ten bond levels with him. The best way to build your bond withZhao is by engaging with all his Walk And Talk dialogue options.
Each of the first four Drink Links will provide you with two options to reply to Zhao. Eachother of these choices will raise one of Kiryu’s three Awakening stats by 30 points.Naturally, we have provided you with all the information you need below to target any given Awakening stat.
Don’t worry about how Zhao will receive any of these replies.There is no impact on his relationship with Kiryu, no matter what option you choose.

Zhao’s Level 5 Drink Link
During Zhao’s fifth Drink Link, you’ll need to fend off Zhao’s well-intentioned former Liumang members. There are four in total and they are all level 40.
The Perceptive Elite will strike four times with his claws andwill inflict the bleeding status effect. Both the Passionate Elite and the Tough Elite have attacks that will strike you once (with the clever causing bleeding).The Passionate Elite can also breath fire on you.
Needless to say, this is a more diverse lineup of enemies than you would typically encounter in a Drink Link mission. However, while they certainly have a few tricks up their sleeves, Zhao and Kiryu should be able to handle them. Just ensure you can cure the bleed effect.As for weaknesses, the Perceptive Elite is weak to electricity, the Smart Elite is weak to fire, and the Tough Elite is weak to water.
Zhao Drink Link Rewards
As a reward, you will obtain 12,625 experience, 11,372 Job Experience, 2,687,500 yen, and you’ll get theGangster’s Saber(this is a five-star weapon for Zhao’s Gangster class). Additionally, you will gain Zhao’sHawaii Outfit, as well as hisNormal Swimsuit.
Strangely, this is the one Drink Link fight which didn’t provide us withanycrafting materials.
