Every Sparkle Gem In Princess Peach: Showtime
Get your magnifying glass out, we’ll be hunting high and low for Sparkle Gems as we unravel three increasingly twisting and turning cases to get to the bottom of the mystery once and for all. With 22 to find, you best keep your eyes peeled and your wits sharp.
Every Sparkle Gem in The Case of the Missing Mural
While investigating a museum heist, Detective Peach still has time to find ten Sparkle Gems dotted around town. With our help, you’ll have time too.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 1
The first Gem is unmissable and is awarded for saving the man being surrounded by bandits.
In the alley just before this incident, you’re able to find the ribbon collector, too -check out our complete guide on all hidden ribbons here.

The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 2
This Gem is behind the sign to the left of the museum.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 3
Unlock the hideout in the junior detective’s home by activating the Star, Lightning, Cloud, Sun books in that order.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 4
Find the junior detective hidden under the cushions with a Strike of Intuition by holding B.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 5
After leaving the house but before you go in the museum, find the manhole cover to the right. Pose on it using ZL, then in the hidden area perform a Strike of Intuition on the crate to the right of the room.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 6
After the mural is stolen, perform a Strike of Intuition on the wonky stone tablet on the left wall of the entrance hall to find a secret passage, and a Gem.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 7
Use the Spades Key (found as soon as you enter the room through the duct) to open the sarcophagus on the left to find this Gem.
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 8
Use a Strike of Intuition on the police officer with a camera in front of the popcorn stand (we know it’s him as a camera was stolen and if you open the right sarcophagus with the Hearts Key just inside the second room he will tell you he is also a police officer and the thief stole his clothes).
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 9
Use a Strike of Intuition on the middle statue of the playwrights to detect one of the thieves in disguise (we know it’s him as we know only one playwright had popcorn and also that one wore sunglasses).
The Case of the Missing Mural Sparkle Gem 10
To find the missing mural, you will need to tell the scholar on the stool that the Egyptian room is open, then place his stool in front of the window. Climb up and open the window so the curtain in front of the mural blows away, revealing it was never stolen at all. So we all wasted our time because our Detective Peach couldn’t tell a wall from a curtain. Don’t quit your nine other day jobs, Peach.
Every Sparkle Gem in The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot
In this case, Peach is taking on even bigger challenges - rather than finding a missing mural, she’s stopping a bomb plot. Quite a serious escalation on Madame Grape’s behalf, but we’re still here to guide you through all the Sparkle Gems.
There are no Gems in the first area, but if you keep going past the alley with the bandit, you will find the ribbon collector.See our guide here on where to find him in every level.

The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 1
Choose the door with the leaf above it (the middle one) when presented with the three door puzzle. But don’t go through the door yet if you want to get every Gem.
The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 2
Go past the three door puzzle to find a manhole cover. Pose on it using ZL to get to a hidden area, then use Strike of Intuition on a crate to the left to get this Gem.
The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 3
Use your Strike of Intuition on the replica of the clock tower to deduce where the bomb will be, and to get this Gem.
The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 4
Before heading into the clock tower, climb onto the stack of crates to the left to get this Gem.
The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 5
After going up the elevator with the ‘9’ key (that was really a 6), head to the left to the elevator down. Then go all the way to the right and use Strike of Intuition on the steam pipe to find a bandit, and a Gem.
The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 6
After piecing together the broken gear, find the bandit on the next floor up behind the big gear to the left. Use Strike of Intuition to alert the police and get a Gem.
The Case of the Rainy-Day Plot Sparkle Gem 7
Use Strike of Intuition on the bell itself at the top of the tower to find the bomb and get the last Gem. Well, after Peach couldn’t tell a wall from a curtain, this level ends with the junior detective dropping the bomb after previously shouting twice while tailing the perps. They’re just not very good at this, are they?
Every Sparkle Gem In The Dark Museum & The Purple Mastery
You’re back in the museum for this one, but things are not as they seem. The bandits are in disguise everywhere, and we really do meaneverywhere.
The Dark Museum & The Purple Mastery Sparkle Gem 1
Activate the four exhibits in order of the number of dots on them to get this gem. You will need to use Strike of Intuition on all the museum visitors to reveal them as bandits to move them away, and will need to rotate all the statue heads to face the front to reveal the third exhibit.
Rotate them to the left for the ribbon collector too - andsee our guide on every hidden ribbon in the game.

Choose the third Detective Sparkla from the left (the one with no glowing nose) to get this Gem.

The Dark Museum & The Purple Mastery Sparkle Gem 5
Use Strike of Intuition on the junior detective to reveal he is a fake, and then complete the level (and your career as a detective) with a very sparkly Sparkle Gem.
