AFK Journey is an idle gacha game where you can explore a fantasy world while battling mystical enemies and making your heroes stronger. Other than questing through the world, there are also several alternate battle modes to attempt, each promising powerful rewards.
One of the optional battle modes is the Dream Realm, which provides unique rewards that can be used to purchase Soul Sigils or unlock your Heroes' Focus Skills. Below, we’ll take a look at everything you need to know about the Dream Realm battle mode.
Dream Realm Explained
The Dream Realm is aboss battle modewhere you take on a single boss, trying tosee how much damage you can do to it within 90 seconds. There are four different Dream Realm bosses available to fight,rotating every day. The following bosses appear in the Dream Realm.
If you can kill the boss within 90 seconds, you’ll move on to thenext difficulty level, where the boss will havemore healthanddeal more damage. There are six difficulty levels, with the last one beingEndless mode, where the boss can’t die. Instead, you just have to dealas much damage as you can within the time limit.
You are given a certain number of attempts to defeat each boss, whichrefresh every dayor when you kill the boss. You’ll start with five attempts per day, but this can be increased to 10 through theMystic Collection.
As you deal damage to the boss, you’ll getrewards depending on your progress. These rewards areonly given out once per difficulty level.
When a boss you’ve previously defeated rotates back, its difficulty level willstart at the highest you’ve previously attained, meaning you don’t have to beat its lower difficulty modes again.
Additionally, you’ll also be rewarded depending on yourprogress on the leaderboards. The leaderboards will rank you against other players; the better your score, the higher your spot in the leaderboards. You’ll get the following rewards based on your rank.
