When it comes to character creators, there always seems to be two groups of people. One group does their best to createsome of the most hideous, nightmare-inducing human beings that you’ve ever seen, and the other does their best to recreate their favorite characters from other games and movies.Dragon’s Dogma 2is no exception, as even though we’re still a couple of weeks from launch, several popular video game characters have already been lovingly brought to life thanks to the recently released character creator.
Take a look down the Dragon’s Dogma subreddit, and you’ll find various attempts shared by players of them trying to recreate certain characters. For example, take Reddit user Wakiratoshi, who has managed to make a scarily accurate recreation ofBaldur’s Gate 3fan-favorite andGod’s favorite princess, Shadowheart. They even sharedscreenshots of their slidersin case you want your own Shadowheart Pawn to run around with.
Sticking with the theme of famous medieval RPGs, it seems as though the world of Dragon’s Dogma 2 would be perfect for an iconic monster slayer or two, which is probably why Reddit user SirSeaborn’s portrayal of Geralt of Rivia fromThe Witcherseries fits in so well. There’s also Reddit user Xvilaa who has brought a fellow Capcom legend to Dragon’s Dogma 2 thanks to their cool recreation of Leon Kennedy fromResident Evil 4, though he may struggle to find a suitable leather jacket among all the rags and chainmail.
Videos and screenshots of Dragon’s Dogma 2 fans recreating characters aren’t exclusive to Reddit either, as TikTok user Tasty Husband recently uploaded a video of themselves making Kratos fromGod of War, a character that has been recreated in pretty much every game with a character creator since the launch of the reboot series, including the likes of Elden Ring, Diablo 4, and Street Fighter 6.
If you can think of a character right now, chances are that they’ve been recreated in Dragon’s Dogma 2, and if enough players recreate their favorite characters and upload them to the game’s Pawn system, you could theoretically have a party made up of gaming royalty if you so choose. It’s probably the only way we’ll ever see Kratos, Shadowheart, and Leon Kennedy interact with each other anyway.
