We added the regions of each enemy to make them easier to pinpoint and separated the Boss and Standard Enemy tables to allow you to find out which Bosses have Stealable Items, so you know which ones you must focus on during your playthrough!
Steal Materia Overview
Steal Materiais an excellent way toobtain rare or expensive itemswith minimal risk, provided you know what you’re looking for and which enemies to target. There arehundreds of enemiesin Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, many of which have items you can Steal, which can muddy the waters a bit.
However, unlike its predecessor, thereseems to be no exclusive Weapons, Armor, Accessories, or Materia hidden behind this mechanic,making its primary goal a way tosnag potent and useful itemsthat can either besold for lots of Gilorturned into new items viathe game’sItem Transmuter.
To see if an enemy has an item that can be stolen ahead of time, using the Assess Materia on them during combat will display that information. If they have no stealable items, it will be indicated by three lines (—).
How To Obtain Steal Materia
Despite the Steal Materia being such a strong Materia, it is painless and simple enough to get your hands on. Uponclearing Chapter 2of the story, you’re able to findSteal Materiaavailable in allVending Machine Shopsthroughout the game for a cool500 Gil,which sounds like aStealto us.
Furthermore, whenYuffieofficially joins your team, shewill have the Steal Materia on her as one of her default Materia,enabling you to equip it to anyone you please from that point onward. So, overall, you will have plenty of easy ways to get your hands on the Steal Materia!
