WrestleMania is the keystone event on the WWE calendar each year, and along with the 40 Years of WrestleMania edition available for purchase,WWE 2K24is celebrating the 40th edition of the Showcase… of the Immortals with its annual Showcase Mode. The game mode features 21 matches from WrestleMania history where you take control of the match winner and attempt to win the match and recreate key moments.
This guide will cover everything you need to know about 2K Showcase of the Immortals, including a full match list, keys to success, and some of the fun tidbits 2K has thrown in to complete this annual game mode.
Showcase Of The Immortals Basics
Showcase… of the Immortals has21 Matches to complete, starting with Ricky “The Dragon” Steamboat vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage at WrestleMania 3 and spanning the full history of the event.
In each match,you will take control of the eventual winner(save for one later match where you get to control two Superstars) and attempt to win to progress to the next Match.
The Mode does contain Brock Lesnar, who is not playable in the game outside of this Mode. You do not unlock him by winning his matches.
Each stage is introduced by WWE commentator Corey Graves, whoexplains the history behind the match and narrates in-match cutscenes. The mode splices in clips from WWE programming to give you the full story leading up to the encounter.
How To Unlock All Showcase Of The Immortals Matches And Rewards
The answer to this is simple:Play and win.
You will be given a set of Objectives to complete in each match.Completing these Objectives will help push the story of the match along, displaying new animated cutscenes and clips from the original match.
Sometimes the Objectives can be difficult to complete, asyour opponent does not always cooperate with everything you are trying to do. A particularly challenging task in this regard is a Ladder Match early in the mode.
Simply winning the Match will allow you to go to the next stage of the mode. Completing all the Objectivesunlocks all the Superstars, Managers, and Arenasavailable for that match.
Some of the unlockables are different Attires for Superstars or Managers that you have by default or others you have previously unlocked in the game.
