InPersona 3 Reload, there are plenty of monsters awaiting you as you make your way up the looming tower of Tartarus, so you’ll need to be ready to take on the fights ahead. And with the help of Igor and Elizabeth in theVelvet Room, you’ve got them all at your fingertips.
With every Persona in your Compendium tied to one of your many social links in P3R, not only do your social links make your Personas stronger, but your Personas make your social links stronger, too. With hundreds of Personas to fuse, here’s what you need to know.

How To Fuse New Personas
Fusion in Persona 3 Reload is as simple as it’s ever been, with a fairly streamlined experiencein the Velvet Room, which formally becomes available once you beginprogressing through Tartarus.
You’ll collect new Personas viaShuffle Timein Persona 3 Reload, with plenty of prizes on offer in addition to a variety of Personas. The Personas available change throughout Tartarus as you level up and reach new heights in the tower.
In all, you’ll need tovary your fusions to make as many new Personas as possible.
Max Out Social Links To Unlock High-Powered Personas
There are plenty of characters around Port Island for your protagonist to befriend, andeach relationship is tied to a social link, representingone arcana each.
As you progress through the scenes of each social link’s progression andspend time growing closer to your friendsaround town, you’ll begin toreceive additional power when fusing Personas of the same arcana.
The closer you are, the stronger this perk is, with higher-ranking social links lending more power than ones you’ve just begun.
you may use this bonus to further increase the levels of your Personas in the Velvet Room, making them even stronger for when it’s time to battle.
Once you’ve reachedRank Ten (Max)with any social link, the link will be considered finished - and your reward for doing so isthe ability to fuse the Ultimate Persona of the corresponding arcana.
Each arcana has an Ultimate Persona, whichcannot be fused before maxing the social linkeven if you know the recipe to create it, so grab some gifts and dedicate time to your favorite social links to unlock new Personas in Persona 3 Reload.
Special Fusions Require Multiple Personas, But Make A Strong One As A Result
As you progress through the game and become stronger by fighting through Tartarus, you’ll unlock newspecial fusion Personasin the Velvet Room.
With their own menu in the fusion screen, special fusions requirethree or more Personasto fuse. The levels of the parent Personas will be close in level to the final Persona, meaning higher-level special, fusions require higher-level parent Personas, which quickly becomes expensive.
Youmust have fused each of the parent Personason your own orcaught them in Shuffle Time in Tartarusbefore you’re able to make a special fusion Persona.
Once each parent Persona has been logged to your Compendium, you canautomatically withdraw the Personas you need for a special fusion right from the special fusion screen, so save yourself the time of sifting through your Personas for the ones you need.
From there, special fusion acts much like regular fusion, withdifferent buildsto choose from by selecting different skills and yoursocial links powering up the resulting Persona.
How To Use Our Complete Persona List And Fusion Guide
In the tables below, we’ve kept track ofone fusion recipe per Personathat we used to fill out our own Compendium.
This guide isbroken down by arcana, with a table for each individual arcana. Additionally, there are tables forspecial fusionsandNew Game Plus personas, to help keep them separate from Personas available through regular fusions.
For each Persona, we list itsname, base level,andtwo parent Personas(listed with their level and arcana to help you find them easier) to use in your Persona 3 Reload fusion recipes.
The Fool Arcana
TheSEES Teamfills the role of your Fool arcana in Persona3 Reload, as your dungeon-crawling team in Persona games often tends to. Itprogresses automaticallyas you continue through the story beats in the game.
Since you’re able to’t manually choose to hang out with the SEES Team in a way that levels the Fool social link, unless you need them at the beginning of the game, it may be best to wait to fuse Fool Personas for Compendium completion until later in the game when the social link has been leveled more to earn more power upon fusion.

Special Fusion
- Orpheus is your native Persona, and you’ll unlock it by default through story progression.
After maxing out the Fool social link with SEES in Persona 3 Reload, you’ll be able to fuse the Ultimate Persona of the Fool arcana,Susano-o.
The Magician Arcana
Your lovesick classmate with a penchant for older women,Kenji Tomochika, represents the Magician arcana in Persona 3 Reload.
As something of an introductory social link, you’ll earn plenty of bonus EXP for Magician Personas by spending your early days with Kenji.

The final social link to unlock,Aigisserves as your Aeon social link once again in Persona 3 Reload.

Finishing Aigis' social link brings you right up to the end of the game, but doing so permits the fusion ofMetatron, the Ultimate Persona of the Aeon arcana.

WHERE TO PLAY
Persona 3 Reload is a ground-up remake of the RPG classic, aligning the aesthetics with the more recent Persona 5. It does not contain any of the changes or extra content from Persona 3 FES or Persona 3 Portable.
