The Elheim chapter ofUnicorn Overlordcomes to a close with a fight against the sorceress Alcina at Nasthirion Tower. With the help of Rosalinde and the Dark Elves, you’re able to stage a counteroffensive to take it back, but Alcina’s got a few tricks up her sleeve.
This fight features many recurring aspects of the Elheim stages, such as terrain hazards, waves upon waves of magic users, and siege weapons for you to take advantage of. Every prior fight has been leading up to this, and players who have been paying attention will turn the tides of battle.

This map is designed topunish players who try to rush it,sotake it slow and prioritize taking enemy basesinstead of heading straight for Alcina. That will ultimately make the fight shorter and mean fewer reinforcements attacking your Command Posts.

The top half of this map is covered with thorns that can damage your units. Flyers are immune to them and can ferry units to key points quickly and safely.

Sniper/Elven Archer/Shieldshooter
Given the number of magick users on this map, archers will make better use of the Watchtowers with their Ranged Assist.

Sainted Knights/Dark Marquess
These units all have good magick defense and can be used to protect frailer units or defend Command Points.
This stage is stuffed to the brim with enemy sorcerers, Watchtowers, and thorns to obstruct your path, so you’ll have to tread carefully andavoid splitting up your forces too much.Taking your time and stocking up on healing items will get you far in this fight.
Strategy For A Witch’s Word
This is a fight that is ultimately very forgiving. Yes,Alcina will teleport around the map and fully heal herselfif you give her the opportunity, buteach gate has a nearby garrison point you’re able to deploy fromso you don’t waste too much time chasing her down.
If youprioritize taking all the available command pointsbefore fighting Alcina, you’ll save yourself a lot of trouble in the long run.
To start, you have two command posts to deploy from. Leave one unit at each, at least until you’ve stopped enemy reinforcements.
From the southern command post, send a unit left to take the catapult,and then Palanspelt Palace, which will have a Zenoiran Axebearer guarding it.
Be sure to heal the unit you left at the Command Post, as they will take a lot of damage from the catapult before you can get there.
Move on to Rokkil Garrison and defeat the Elven Archer, take the ballista so it won’t attack you, thenpark the unit you want to use to beat Alcina there.
Alcina will have two Wyvern Masters in her front row, so keep an archer in this unit or in another unit nearby.
From the northern Command Post,have your units move out slowly, focusing on the two Watchtowers and ballista.
Leave units to use the ballista to take out enemy reinforcements, then take Kolbatzat Garrison, which is guarded by an Armored Infantry.
From there, take the path and knock out the watchtowers along the way. Take the Eastern Nasthirion Gate andleave a unit garrisoned there.Continue on, taking the Watchtower and Fort Kolmerengas which is guarded by a Zenoiran Sorcerer.
Send a unit to take the Northern Nasthition Gate andleave the unit garrisoned there.
Now that you’ve claimed the rest of the map, the units you left at Rokkil Garrison can head to Alcina.
Feel free tomake liberal use of your Valor Skills and Ranged Assiststo deal with her quickly. She’ll attempt to teleport to one of the other Nasthirion Gates, butwon’t be able to because of the units you’ve left garrisoned.
