Tomb Raider 1-3 Remasteredintroduces or reintroduces some ofLara Croft’s most infamous foes. Each of the three games has a primary antagonist: a villain with immense power and diabolical plans searching for an artifact that could detrimentally change the world, leavingnone other than Lara to stop them.

But any great Tomb Raider villain comes with henchmen. These henchmen could be a group of mercenaries, while others are scientists or individual contributors. Some of these henchmen are hard to take seriously, but they stand out nonetheless. These are eight Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered villains, ranked worst to best.

bald man, skater boy, cowboy tomb raider 1-3 remastered

9Bald Man, Skater Boy, & Cowboy

Tomb Raider

Yes, these are their real names. Although technically three villains, they aren’t significant enough for their own entries. Regardless of how small they are to the plot, their names alone are enough to get them a spot on this list.

The three villains appear in Tomb Raider 1 as Jacqueline Natla’s henchmen. You encounter them directly after finding the third piece of the Scion in Egypt. Afterward, Lara must fight each one to retrieve the weapons stolen from her. The Skater Boy boss stands out in particular as he shoots at you on his skateboard.

tomb raider 1-3 remastered lara meets tony in india

8Tony

Tomb Raider 3

Tony is one of Mark Willard’s few named henchmen in Tomb Raider 3,the longest of the three games. He’s an eccentric character who comes across as a bit unhinged. Unlike the other henchmen, Tony is eager to back out of the expedition. He has a cynical perspective on the tombs and artifacts and seems suspicious of their effects.

He has his own boss battle in India, where he’s gained some of the meteorite’s mystical powers. This automatically sets him apart from the typical henchmen, as he poses more of a threat than the usual gunfight.

tomb raider 1-3 remastered lara meets fiamma nera member at the great wall

7Fiamma Nera

Tomb Raider 2

Though this is a group of people rather than an individual person, the Fiamma Nera is so prominent in Tomb Raider 2 that it needs to be included here. Under the orders of Marco Bartoli, this Italian-based gang terrorizes Lara Croft throughout Tomb Raider 2, following her everywhere she goes.

The group can come in all shapes and sizes, and many of them notably sport masks and ponytails. However, not all members are human. Large Dobermann dogs are also part of the gang and pose a significant threat to Lara, especially when combined with human enemies.

Pierre Dupont from Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered shooting

6Pierre DuPont

Another one of Natla’s henchmen, Pierre DuPont, is recruited by Natla to find the second piece of the Scion in Greece. Pierre is a French treasure hunter and is skilled at his craft. Unlike the others, Pierre is the only one who actually retrieves a piece of the Scion.

He also shows up multiple times throughout the Greece section of the game, attacking you with his own set of dual pistols before running off. He always seems to be one step ahead of Lara as he enters each location before her.

Larson in Peru Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered

5Larson

Larson is another one of Natla’s more notable henchmen. You’ll encounter this stocky country boy three times throughout the plot. You’ll first meet him in the opening cutscenes, where he introduces Croft to Natla and the assignment. However, Larson isn’t as friendly the next two times you face him.

In Peru, he tries to kill Lara after she retrieves the first piece of the Scion. He attacks Lara for the last time in Egypt before she collects the third piece. He’s a memorable villain as he plays a greater role in the plot compared to the other henchmen.

Sophia Leigh from Tomb Raider 1-3 Remastered standing and holding a golden staff

4Sophia Leigh

Sophia Leigh appears in Tomb Raider 3 as a beauty mogul. Though she looks beautiful, her human test subjects look monstrous. Lara’s first meeting with Sophia is comical, as they both insult each other.

Sophia will attack Lara on the England rooftops using the staff’s magical powers. Because she’s constantly moving, she can be difficult to hit. She mirrors Lara’s agility by mastering jumping and climbing while still being able to attack.
